Zen Exchange?

I was wondering as to why the Zen backlog is still so high (currently around 5.8 mil). I understand that people were hoarding Zen before Mod6 release but I thought it would drop rather quickly after release, especially considering there's not really anything worth getting atm unless I'm missing something?

It's a lack of ZEN being put up for sale extending back to before m6 launch.

As a matter of official notice:

Do not discuss or allude to exploits on the forums, as discussing such isn't allowed. If you suspect a player is exploiting or otherwise violating the ToS or EULA, please report said player using the ingame reporting system or the support website. Again, DO NOT discuss it here.

Do not respond or reply to this notice, but use the PM system to address any questions or comments.

Simple, nobody appears to be buying zen and transferring over to Astral Diamonds. My guess is because there is nothing the playerbase feels is worth spending their money on.

I think the wait time is about a week and a half, at least it was as of a week ago when I bought some zen with AD.

    It's simple.

The game is dying (not that I'm happy about it).
Sad but true, less players are around than before. An influx of those did happen, but it's not as big as before. Some of my friends have been disapointed in the first questing zone and just left....I wish they reached the second new zone and the other ones after....those actually have funny/diverse quests even if they are redoable later.

    (NOT discussing exploits).

    Have fun,

Given the state of mod 6, I know I am holding off on spending zen for AD, because what you can buy for that AD is not really worth it.

If the devs want to keep the AD:Zen ratio strong, and make selling Zen for AD desirable, they need to add more items that are purchasable for ADs that are truly worthwhile. Right now, there are a few fashion items, and some refinement items, but they tend to either be overpriced or single purchase and you're done. What we should do is brainstorm some ideas for AD items that would be sought after.

Here are a few of my ideas:

    1. Rarifier - when used, it converts a green piece of gear to a blue one, (thus improving its stats). It has a tiny chance to convert said item into purple quality and/or to add a weapon, armor, or overload enchantment slot if used on the appropriate piece of equipment. The green item must be ID'd first.

    2. Unstable refinement stone - basically a relatively cheap refinement item, which applies a random, variable amount of RPs to an item.

    3. Tome of Vigilance - allows you to take on 4 more vigilance quests - lasts until those tasks are completed.

    4. High quality and premium quality mount feed - lasts 1 hour per use, (additional applications extend the time) - increases the run speed of your mount by 1 or 2 tiers, (depending on the quality of feed you buy), for the duration.

Honestly, why would I spend zen on AD at this point. Nothing in the game is worth spending real money on.

Oh boy.. don't you worry its not just you.
We all still are stuck here hoping on mighty comeback with patch on 23rd.

    AMEN!

Because there is nothing worth buying with AD and people who used to buy zen to sell for AD are turned away after learning they need thousand of real dollars for the RP.

    1. OMG if it went on live bugged turning every trash green into something purple that would be hilarious.. remember auction house bug ? ROFLCOPTER.jpg

    2. Bioshrike =. = , you nasty RNGesus.

    3. Thats pretty much useless, vigilance quests are somethiing you go tru once and you never go back to it, unless altoholic ..

    4. You know stuff that expires that you have to pay for ..hmm.. sounds like taxes ? No ty :<

Basically, what would you buy with those AD currently?

Only thing worth getting from the AH currently are RP and/or enchantments, and there we get tons of them for free. Armour? Weapons? Dead as of Mod 6. All worthwhile stuff is BoP from vendors - or a free quest reward on the weapon side. The RP market will probably pick up again sooner rather than later, especially if and when a 2xRP WE should come up. Then some of the paying customers will want AD again, and then the ZAX will get fed with ZEN again... ...though on the other hand all those RP farmers will have tons of AD, nothing desirable on the AH, so hey, let's buy some ZEN! :^D

So all the ZEN currently bought with RL money will probably go to the ZEN market (Pala Packs!), and not to the ZAX. And Mod 6 gear rework killing that market didn't really help us there...

I'm closing this up now as it has and will continue to lure in folks, by no intent of the original poster, who will break the rules and discuss Exploits.

Folks, if you have the knowledge of an Exploit, in addition to filing a Support Ticket with all the details, you may contact any Forum Moderator and we will also pass along such reports directly to the Developers. These forums are not a place in which one may discuss exploits or allude to their use.

You may find a list of forum staff in which one can send such reports to in our Rules of Conduct, in the second half of the first post. I also personally write up weekly community feedback reports, so my PM box is always open (unless it gets full, if it does, PM another mod).

    Safe travels,
