Campaign boost on wrong char

I did something dumb today and accidentally bought a campaign boost on the wrong char, not realizing that they apply immediately.
I wanted to ask if it's worth creating a ticket in such a case and if there is a chance for customer service or the GMs to help me with that ? Or am I out of luck in such a case, that would really suck cause these things are not exactly cheap.
