Seriously following the previous time schedule this one would've been on the late end already but another 3 weeks? We want new mods every 3 to 3 1/2 months! Another 3 weeks of nothing to do ingame.... Bad decision imho, of course there'll be bugs upon release but it's never going to be perfect.
What's currently there on preview is nothing you'd wish to see ingame in 4 days. Even most things that used to work are currently broken (just take a look at the preview bug forum).
The only thing that a bugged release can bring are exploits, and I believe we suffered enough so far.
This means the market swap from seller markets to buyer markets now.... Those who buy or keep Mod 6 stuffs now will cry as the price will drop back for 2 weeks and will rise in late march, which means they wasted extra AD to buy those stuff now. Hahaha....
Normally I wouldn't be so harsh. Everyone makes mistakes. However, as we have seen buggier content which is being rushed out, it is clear that this has been an issue in the development process for a while that should have been dealt with back then to avoid a situation like this now.
Yep. I'd be happy to say "hey, it's the first time they screw up, take it easy" but sadly we had the same story with last 2 module releases, it's becoming a pattern...

Oh thank Corellen! Maybe we wont have a bug riddle infestation of a new module release! This is the best decision they have made in....well forever XD!
Under the given circumstances a very wise decision!
This was the best the Devs and the management could do!
This step is worthy of my appreciation!

Sucks for them trying to corner the market.

WOTC must be mad the game developing can't catch up with table top games.
WOTC must realize that gaming development needs MOAR RESOURCES spent wisely and stop trying to monetize on the very low percentage of mostly PVP players who are able to fund the game. I dont know what is the deal with Cryptic/PWE but its more obvious than ever that resources are so LIMITED for a game that has a lore of this magnitude, the DnD lore that is, and the player base potential which should have been ten times bigger than currently.

It jut means we wait a few weeks before cashing in the profits. In fact, I'm glad. It gives me more time to buy up what I didn't get to invest in fast enough before prices jacked up. In addition, now it gives me a better picture of where the market will head for certain item in a few weeks to better prepare and focus on the best investment opportunities. Not to mention 3 more weeks of selling zen items on the AH.
In fact, maybe you are right. Perhaps some will cry tears of joy

Thumbs up here. Seriously. A wise decision to refine content rather than to have a company push it's release only for endless problems.
When I volunteer (not paid, my own time, my own sanity) devved on NWN Classic an announced delay could send people into angry riots why I could not humanly do it faster. I explained to them it was inhumane to expect perfection on limited time with no pay.
I can wait a bit longer on the Module 6 for certain as it gives more prep time in anticipation of it, and these are paid devs (which they rightly should be) whom are doing a good job.

"Why is it dragons only use ketchup? I'd like a little wasabi please. Us silvers like a variety of condiments."
"Don't call them foolish mortals. One, they don't learn from it. Two, It just ticks them off." - An Ancient Red Dragon
I'm torn on this, on one side I'm glad they realized there's still much work to be done, that way we'll get a much more polished end product (hopefully), on the other side I was so eager to play the new module XD
This is awful,i can understand that many people do not like some changes that are made ,so use 7 april for another maintenance to change whatever needed, but bring mod 6 out in 4 days as was anticipated, this way at least we can test it out ourselves. If you don't like whatever pvp change are made then stop pvp til april, others just wanna enjoy the new maps and use this time for the new boons and such.Don't postpone the whole thing, its not just about pvp its also about pve.
You can already test it yourself on preview. I've played it there, many have. All previewers that have been providing bug reports and feedback would all agree, Module 6 is NOT ready. Three more weeks is exactly the kind of time the devs need to fix the broken skills, make the last polishes and adjustments.
Cryptic Devs, don't let anyone tell you this was not the right move to do....it was.
"Good decision", "good news".... yeaaaa.... we'll see how good of a decision it is on April 7th because honestly I'm not expecting too much of an improvment (except of some bug fixes and more balancing) from what can be seen on preview.
But then again maybe, just maybe, they'll fix some issues with previous campaigns.
Have you played on preview? You might not understand if you haven't. It's not a question of a few bugs....there are a few skills that are simply not working, or broke with a new patch. Even some of the old feats and skills. They NEED the time, desperatly. And for us people on preview, we NEED the time to catch all stuff, so we can report it all back to Cryptic.
Everything, the dynamic between mob fights and players have changed dramaticly.
My suggestion for you, is to overlevel your character a few times to stock up a bit of power points, stock up on WoD resources and finishing as much as possible of your campaigns on existing characters, and get some progressions up to 20. Sharandar will be level 71 area, last time I checked. Others get more difficult.

I would prefer ever 6 months honestly, you can barely catch your breath around here of late.
Honestly if it only takes you 3 months to gear up 2-3 classes , then kudos to you, but most of us find their mod releases of late to be overly aggressive.
With the addition of unbound RP back into the market, at least you can get a few classes to epic before you have to regrind.
BTW, what do you actually think this mod is giving us? at the moment there is nothing new, just some new zones to level in and new enchants to level up. Thats it, its the same content otherwise, so there is no rush imo.
To me, this is really good news. It's nice to see that they are taking the extra time to make sure that the module is right before release., (what ever the process behind the scenes that led to the decision).
Now please, for the love of all that's holy, please rethink the lvl 70 pvp gear skins. They're revolting!
Good move, they probably needed an okay from WotC.
Just the same, the delay is a 'let down' to be sure. But we can be frustrated now at the delay or more frustrated later if they released a sloppy Mod. Sure, there'll still be glitches and bugs and issues, but nowhere near what they would be if they released this week.
One of the wisest decisions Ive seen yet towards this mod! Thanks for getting that this mod was nowhere close to ready for launch and how bad of a time it would have been for all if it were.

Again, good decision, kudos for pulling the plug on a high-risk-high-pressure schedule. Hope your contractual obligations don't hit you too hard!
I am glad that the Devs realized that more time is needed to correct the things!
Keep it up.
+1 from my side
