    Ok well to some degree they do, i wont argue with another vet :)
    Still don't think that it will help allot right now. Perhaps down the road it cold be done better.
    Right now to me that wont help me stay alive stack's or not.
    Need what we have been asking for and thats better flat def. not this squishy junk we have now and a LS system with big fat 'IF' in front of it all.

    Its all a combination thing. If they buffed our DR or Temp HP gain or w.e - ok so we can take more damage, but even the Destroyers cant deal damage in PVP. So at BEST your back to pre-module 1 where nearly all GWFs were just super tanky as hell, but coudlnt do any damage.

    It wont matter since classes have piercing damage anyways so we WILL be cleared and I dont propose trying to make GWF the best "node holder" since itll never happen. - Not that you are saying that.

    But yes, we need more defensive tools, but we also need more offensive tools.

    The Sentinel should feel and play SUPER tanky. He should be very hard to kill but deal little damage.
    - CURRENTLY Sentinel is squishy AND deals LITTLE damage.

    The Destroyer should feel squishier than Sentinel, but have the best damage capability.
    - Currently they DO feeel squishier (which can be made up for with armor enchants and defensive GEAR) but he does VERY poor damage due to the bad stacking mechanics.

    The Instagator SHOULD be a mix of both. More agile, decent tankiness, decent damage. More "utility". Unfortunately, he DOES do less damage than Destroyer but Destroyers damage is bad ANYWAYS so its worse. He also is not ANY more tanky than Destroyer so why would anyone play it?

    NONE of the paths are good. NONE offer any value to the PVP game.

    Anyone know if PvP follows the same 61-70 curve or does it have its own ?
    If im going to cobble together a GWF pvp only build it would help to know that at least.

    Prerty sure there will be a lvl 60-69 bracket just like all the others where you get boosted up to lvl 69.

PVE content (what we have seen on the PTR) is a joke, its not hard at all, doesnt require BIS gear - so the fact you can do it with nearly any group combination and subpar gear or w.e - who cares. The fact that a good geared GWF does the same DPS as an average CW - who cares. As long as GWF deal DECENT damage its fine."


    my ***, i want do 2/3x more damage than cws in pve, i dont care how much easy is pve before m6. " need separete dps and tank" and iam a full dps now; no tank, no utility.

    anyway, have good ways to up the defense for pvp and damage for pve but not both through feets. the devs just need do.... like super improve the ac for gwf - no piercing - and create a feat like "you lost x% to you ac for x% of your weapon damage".

    gwf receive. in every patch, a lot of secrets nerfs and buffs. that is, the damage of gwf is not official, so act results is not official

    dont forget the weapon damage. NO ONE know whats happen to gwf now. is worst than the m2 bleed.

    the rest is based in a CANONIC ability and a historical dicotomy of the class in pve and pvp. I expressed here for a simple reason: is not necessary "choose" one gwf possible and "bargain" all others (i dont say nothing about that be a final solution. i just defend the simple fact: yes, i like to have a bizarre damage and your pvp tank perfomance DONT NEED be neglected because of that. vice-versa).

    I know my pvp friends ;)

    Well i guess what i want to know is if the ArP boost and the Crit depression that we have in the pve data be the same for pvp too.
    If crit in pvp is depressed like the curve shows then i may be able to save a few points there. Crit monster that we use to use may no longer apply like it did.

    Not sure exactly what you are talking about here... Every time you level up, like from 60-61 each point of any stat becomes worth less.

    Like at 60 its 167 power = 1% dmg. At 61 itll be something like 180 or 190 power = 1% dmg. Something LIKE that.

    Also Tenacity has added ARP reduction so that will be in pvp even at lvl 60 now. Crit in PVP is already reduced due to tenacity.

    The problem with this is that with boons scaling from 60-70 at level 69 boosted your boons will do 90% of their damage, so if a level 60 is in 60-69 pvp they're still gonna take 18k+ bursts from ferocity and with the new stat curves + hp on higher gear theyll be sorely outmatched with their level 60 gear. the new curves are just bad for PVP in general and even worse for post 60 - pre 70 pvp.
    People are way too negative, Why cant we just all get along.

    ..The devs have, in the past, said "okay, we're aware of this issue and we're working on a fix". The issue with Roar a couple modules ago is a perfect example of what I'm saying here.

    Devs announce that an issue is "not working as intended and we're working on a fix":

    First patch comes up immediately following that announcement...but it isn't fixed in that patch.

    "Okay, you said you were aware of it....why no fix?"

    Next patch comes up.

    "Two weeks now. Hasn't this been fixed yet?"

    Next patch....

    "Come on, three weeks already? Tick tock!! Fix this NOW!!"

    Next patch...

    "FOUR WEEKS!! Cryptic doesn't care, they just want our money!!"
    ...


    This is one of the reason why GWF is so brocken now
    alot of QQ on forum about to fix "Roar,
    Ppls couldn't wait, weeks for weeks past.. nothing happend and than..

    The DEvs getting tired to read all this stuff and they probably couldn't fix it at time,
    so they decide to overall reducing off everything.
    fully nerf to ground on gwf,

    So all other players had their peace and were quiet,
    because they decided against the gwf players.

    as a victim, it was necessary to sacrifice gwf.

    well things happen,
    it's time to Revive Gwf now!

    Roar, yes. And unstoppable. And deep gash. And slam. But we got used to this, we know we can compete, providing we have way more gs. pve, 10k more gs than the other classes. Pvp, 15k more gs than the other classes.

    Roar should ATLEAST give a 1 second Daze.

    Mighty Leap needs to ATLEAST provide a 2 second Stun (remember its about halved in PVP)

    I would even like to see "Punishing Charge" become our new "stamina" mechanic. The PTR we get 4 charges of this, they can copy/paste that onto our stamina, give us 4 charges, allow it to have CC/damage immunity while using it and maybe increase the range slightly (to provide more immunity frames).

    Unfettered strikes - I think this feat should be that we STEAL movement from our targets, instead of just gaining pure movement speed. We STEAL 1/2/3/4/5% movement from our targets (stacks 4 times).

    Unstoppable DR needs to be on its OWN DR level (like GF block and CW shield)

    I think Determination Gain should be multiplied by the amount of MISSING HP. - What this means is that at 100% we gain normal determination. If we are at 50% HP, we would gain 50% more determination. If we are at 20% HP we gain 80% MORE determination.

    So take for instance. We current need AROUND 20% HP loss - 40% HP loss for ONE unstoppable.

    If we were UNDER 50% HP, we would gain 50% MORE determination from HP loss, meaning our HP loss would drop to 15% -30%.

    If we were at 20% HP, we gain an 80% boost meaning we would only need to lose ~ 12% HP to pop a 4 second unstoppable.

    I dont think this would be hard to code and this COMBINED with the temp HP boost we got would be a nice fix.
