I'm tired of seeing recycled content.

For some reason a big portion of the forum community demanded to have the old dungeons recycled. That really gets me as to why people want to do the same stuff over and over again that's been around for a few years.

no one wanted the old dungeons recycled we wanted new content and this is what they give us

Oh, there were posts in general section previous how people wanted "legendary" versions of the epic dungeons rather than fresh dungeons. Lots of people demanded such a feature.

Anyone that mentioned having fresh new content got shot down by other posters in those threads.

I don't think it was ever and either/or situation. I want new dungeons. But if we aren't getting those, can we at least have the old dungeons re-worked to provide more challenge and better rewards? Sure, new dungeons would be preferable. But I'd still prefer something be done rather than just leave everything as is even if it means recycling some content.

Because adjust a dungeon difficulty is a one day job.
That should have been the something more to the new experience which is not.
As i already said more times, i will level to 70 very very slowly and log on 1 hour a day to farm rp.
Why? Because what exactly are we going to get? Fixed some old stuffs, adjusted old stuffs, reworked old stuffs and a new class which i m not interested too.
Conclusion: game quality gets better without offering newngaming experience but leveling.
1 hour a day is enough if i have 3-4 months

sure noone wrote he wanted old stuff instead of new, all the threads were about was getting a rework of old stuff since
    1. its done pretty fast, and we knew Crytic is not able to manage huge things and
    2. challenge is even better than onhitting mobs all time

but...that is not excluding new content, who ever wrote he wanted to keep old content instead of new? noone
and sure if rework is all they do for now, they should manage to give the player task to solve in relation to the GS he wears

Sadly this is true and it's not so much that they are forced to quit, just that they won't ever feel like logging back in again.

To be fair, cryptic, pwe, wotc or who ever calls the shots threw everyone for a loop with the new level cap. The want for recycled harder content was a prior scenario before the new level cap was introduced.

However there were still some people that claimed they wanted harder old recycled content vs short 15-20 minute new dungeon(s) which was not deemed satisfactory by them. I personally prefer the short ones if we're going to be gated behind RNG and farming.

In the end, cryptic can just say that they listened to players "requests" even if behind the scenes it's the shortest way out to provide so called extra content. I myself am not pleased but I do hope that once they get over this major mod hurdle, they can begin to work on some meaningful content. Especially once 5th edition PnP starts to settle down and isn't stoking the fire under cryptic.

I remember watching the op livestream, and one of the developers mentioning he only has a limited time to play so he wanted to create the short 15-20 min dungeons,so where is that for this new mod?

I was going to include that in my post. I too would like to know what happened to them. From what I recalled, they were supposed to have 3 new dungeons lined up for release.

there are no new dungeons and only new gear is from Black Ice crafting - yep you heard that right, Black Ice... and artifact gear from ToD store.
hope you like farming IWD and Tiamat! again!

If i start quoting the hundred posts in the forum by players claiming that neverwinter is too easy , i'll make at least 10 pages .
especially the boon related ones : "oh no more compaigns , no more boons , we don't want another compaign ... etc " , And now everyone want a compaign ,

Finally we got a challenging content , and everyone is crying , Oh come on , you need more than one test with one stuff , without experimenting again and again , and changing your stats to judge !

You need better armor, another better than the better one , change your build , get a companion ... etc , don't cry about game difficulty when it's you the problem .
(going to IWD with 900 def /3% LS chance and 15k power wanting to solo HEs -_- ).
    ....................

the only thing that i didn't like is this lvl scaling thing , i thought old zones remains for lvl 60players , and the new zones will be only for high lvl players .

    ^^^^
    +1 Totally agree with you.
But why you are so surprised? The bigest part of the forum basis are CWs and the game population in general are CWs.

No hate,no vile ,i believe what i am saying, all these commnets "hah NW is too easy, give us harder content!!" were coming mainly from CWs.At least untill mod5 and the rework of the Trs.If someone really seraches the posts where people complained about difficulty,80% of them are by CWs.
And I 'll make a bet:90% of the complaints about survivability in mod6 will come from CWs.This class has no hope :)

Spammming huge aoes with 14% old lifesteal they considered themselves immortal.
Now they complain.Check some of the posts in preview." i have only 9% DR,not fair,i 'll quit!!".

Cryptic made the adds to hit superhard, demolished regen with no reason and now we all are going to suffer cause of the CWs arrogance.

On a side note this is an opportunity the game to shine again.Make extremely difficult -nearly unbeatable HEs,and give appropriate rewards.
The best player gets the best gear .No more botted rp,no more exploits.

No hate.really.Some of my best friends in NW are CWs.But that doesn't change the fact that CWs asked for harder content, yet now they complain.

    To the point:
Were not CWs complaining that content is too easy .and their majesties could not find a challenge? :)
Were not CWs gathering mobs in dungeon runs HAMSTER the poor toons that followed, that were straggling to stay alive? Was not that the case in PK and Never?
take any of your 13k gs alts and try to make a run in pk with 2 cws present.Good luck (if they did not kick you in the end cause "this pet does low damage" )
Who were leading the charge?Who was bunnyjumping first in PK a year ago,in order to gather the adds? The DCs?The Trs?The Gfs?
Who was soloing the Castle Never ?The Dcs?The Gfs? The GWFs?

    :)

The more testing I do in WoD/IWD, the more it seems if you want to be able to do daily content you'll need to be Soulbinder for the healing ability it brings to you. With a Transcendent Negation, and a Transcendent Lifedrinker (also tested out Terror), I'm able to survive and I even solo'd Cult Prison with no problem whatsoever. It requires more work then on live, and fights take longer because you cannot put out the damage as you could before w/o dying...

I was also not using lvl 70 Armor, just Level 60 T2 sets (alternated between a few, and I was able to beat it with different sets, no issue really), as the survivbility is amazing comparatively in the new content and level 73 mobs.

Need to see if the survivability is needed in the parties since you'll be bringing less damage to the table, I'm not sure of SW Fury Spec's will be wanted, though you should be able to spam TT (even if nerfed) faster if you utilize the AP builds, so maybe that will make up for the loss of Flames of Empowerment's 17% Damage increase with the feat in the Fury Tree.

If you run with a party with a good Cleric/OP, can you go pure class cannon and just nuke things... That's the question.

Update: The Drake Rider HE in WoD, that I cannot solo... lol

At least not yet, at 55k HPs, the guy just one shots me 50% of the time with his lance/spear throw... Fun fun!

yep he has 2 attacks that do 65k base dmg. (plain attacks, non-telegraph) with pathetic 11% DR (that's WITH a new 1000 def pot) it's still over 55k. I beat him, but it took about 20 charges of full heal stone (which will be mandatory in mod6, 10k heal pots don't cut it)... more $$ for the zen store I guess.
