Cockatrice.

Does anybody else think cockatrice active bonus needs a ICD?
It's not really useful for PvE but it seems like everyone who roams IWD nowdays got one thanks to winter festival...thing. That stupid active bonus procs so many times in a row, turns most fights into tower fighting. I sometimes can't even move :D Very cheap advantage for burst classes over dot based strikers.

    Well at least it has a limited range now. Upon its release the cockatrice could stun you if you were on the other side of the map.

    It was working in pve.
    Now works on pvp only and it's uber iritating if any1 using briartwine enchant:> me ;)

    Every single second it's stuns me to the ground. No solution till ow, but ppl invest ZEN in this, so who cares?

    I can confirm Cockatrice root effect is working in pve just for a tiny sec.
    To test it i used it on my GF KV+PF each time my ptm got a hit in cn the mobs was loosing distance.

    Cockatrice have "root effect" and not stun effect so you can only see its working if you are running from mobs .

    Ah my bad, yes root instead of stun. Either way super annoying :P

    When it was originally released didn't everybody call for it to be given a cooldown? I'm sure i remember it but not much happened xD

    You can buy one? Not many people do IWD pvp anyways. I like the effect myself, not much reason to use any of these companions, at least its useful.

    I think 200-300k? The price plummeted on anything that could drop from the gifts. It was a good time to go shopping.

IWD just makes it worse, because *everyone* can have a root, not just HRs and the occasional CW with Icy Rays. And it will get even worse with the module 6 Terror enchantment changes.

    I think I got mine for about 1.3 million. I dont really run IWD much but that little chicken's been on my wanted-list, so I forked out the $$$ for it just to complete my collection! :>

    Most got it for free though. I got my from my guild bank where I stored some of those pets during Wondrous bazaar event when I could buy them for 500-600k. At the moment I decided I should give one to my SW they were 2.3m ._.
