I reported this issue about 2 months ago, but to date it has not been fixed.
I cannot spend points on feats or powers on my ranger, as it resets everytime I try to close the window.
No, she does not have the multiple divines cheat. She's level 11.
When is this going to be fixed?
It's only affecting my ranger. And no, No I'm not going to just "roll a new one."

I don't understand exactly how it worked, but the bug with not being able to respec apparently happened if you had used the console command for any purpose, or possibly even from opening it without doing anything at all. Multiple gods was just a very common symptom, but you could be affected even if you hadn't specifically done that.
To get your character straightened out, you need to contact customer service. They aren't looking to punish players over it.

I have a similar, if not exact, problem. What you are saying strikes me as odd and shocking. Was this bug fixed? Why not? Is there a thread you can link? Not judging, just asking.
Can you comment what is the "console" command? Is it a special command to pop the console/admin stuff, or just anything like writing "/motd" in my chat tab?
PS.
Luckily my char is on the preview shard, but this is still very disturbing. I would very much like to know which commands are illegal/bugged or otherwise can cause harm to NW characters. Imagine droning to lvl60 legendary toon, and not being able to spend any feat points after a catastrophical respec. You have 2 at wills, 1 encounter and 1 daily to choose from, your build is a mess, and all your gear is bound. Nightmare alert!

I don't know the specifics (I'm pretty much oblivious to stuff like this until it goes public) and even if I did I'd not be allowed to relay them in detail since it's a past exploit.
There were some commands you could type in chat to pull up interfaces players aren't supposed to have access to. Not something you'd likely ever type by accident. Some players used these to make modifications to their characters that would give them an unfair advantage. Other players used them cosmetically. Once the fix went in, players who had used the commands started to discover that their character would glitch out if they tried to respec, not being able to save changes. Contacting customer service is necessary to get an affected character repaired, no questions asked.
Not being able to respec on preview would seem to be unrelated. Not sure. It's been buggy lately.
Appreciate both your concern for the well being of NW and my prob . Sorry for putting you in the spot. I was asking for any legit commands, listed in the NW commands -> http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Console_command. I did report a bug/GM call in-game, hopefully some1 will come back to me. I use quite a lot of commands daily, for emotes/graphics/keybinds, and this knowledge has me worried.
I am still terrified of using any respecs from now on, and would appreciate some feedback from the moderators.
In preview respec works fine on my other copied chars and only 1 char bugged to date. I used /combatlog on it to practice different builds, which I think is far from an exploit. I recorded a baseline in ACT and cant respec since. I also used /played, but cant remember on which toon (it didnt seem to work anyway). I might copy 1 more and test for the heck of it, since I cant play my intended toon in preview anyway .
Sorry for double posting, but need to ask a direct question, since it is clear to me now the respec-block is a form of punishment to exploits/exploiters. Question to moderators and/or GMs, really: Is there any warning given/sent to players who abuse the game, beforehand?
Under these circumstances I am not clear what I have done wrong or when - someone booby-traps a toon, and goes on with heir life. I could have done a million wrongs, without any chance of defense or to reflect on them. I mean, how often do you use a respec? I can understand the scale, theres thousands of other players etc. but a security bot should be capable of generating any kind of message discretely to the offender. How hard can it be?
I am also baffled by the GM response: Additionally, the Test Server is NOT supported by the Perfect World Customer Support Team.
What's the point of having the GM help option?

Are you playing a TR? Word on the street is nobody on preview is having any luck respeccing TRs.
Preview doesn't have GM support because nothing there permanently affects your gameplay.
Yes. I have seen other posts and reported bug in the correct section. This bug is systematic for TR, and probably different from issues reported by thread author. I have not tested respecing with HR.
