Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out

Not sure what happened I was just ingame, and went to switch characters.......

Now I cant login!

    Hi, this morning i login to do my professions but disconnected half way true
    and now cant log back in, i have tried it 10-12 times.
    Any1 having same issues atm?

    this is the massage im getting
    "Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out"

    I keep getting a message that the Gateway is undergoing maintenance... is this intended or did something break?

    Hi all,

    Same message trying to connect through launcher: Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out.

    Gateway also down

    yep. getting it aswell. seems the login server is down but the games still working fine.

    If this has to do with not using arc, then this game can shove it!

    Time atm : 10:3 am.

    I am experiencing this as well - both in the Gateway and the game proper...

    Hi, since yesterday I am unable to play game. I was at Tiamant at 20:00 (since then there were no latency problems) around 20:10 I started to have lags (connection one not FPS), my latency were going from my 160-200 to 900-5000. After tiamant it was a little better but lags stayed and it was going from 200-800. In about one hour I got the red msg about connection and game DCed me. Since then I cant progress from launcher. Yesterday it was giving me a "Loading please wait" forever. Today it's giving me a "Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out" Any1 having this issue? Cause I don't see anything on forum :(

    Same here. I lost connection during PvP and can't log back in. Same message too: Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out

    Same here. Mail jammed up first, then time outs on login.

    Yup, just happened to me
    Figured I'd log in to pray and get my coins, but 'connection to the account server timed out'
    Then I thought I'd try the gateway, but apparently that's down for maintenance...

    Oh well, will have to try again later

    Same here. Tried to reply to my own mail and nothing would send....then poof! Sorry I broke the game.:(

    yes same problem here, also same problem with STO servers can't login to those either

    I got kicked from game while changing characters. Getting the login error. Other guild members are still playing fine though

    The "Maintenance" message from the gateway is like a standard message when there are problems in the servers, it doesn't mean they are making any kind of maintenance on the servers.

    It's not that, I've gotten it trying to launch both through arc and through steam.

    am fed up with this **** there is no day that goes by without lags and other problems, yeah sure add an other module more bugs and lags and issues.

    srry dude but i expect a game to be playable when i payed for it. running a stairs 7 times in row because of lags aint what i call playable or get killed because i cant move but monsters do during lags.

    Doh, was in game; then I think I tried to switch char. now I get same error. People were ingame.

    edit: 10 sec after typing this I got back in
