To be fair, Cryptic isn't making it so that the paingiver leader gets more rewards or more status or anything.
This is more of a complaint toward's the PVE communities' attitudes.

Paingiver is a misnomer. If they want it to be an actual, "paingiver," chart it needs to rank people in order of how painful and irritating they are in dungeon runs, The chart should probably be labelled, "Damage dealer." On a more serious note, I am neither for nor against paingiver chart, it only actually has any value if you attribute value to it and it has no value on its own. Its a classic example of statistics lying, however, its up to the person reading the stats to determine what they mean.

And it's even more worthless than paingiver as you can get mid rankings if you hold down w till you run off the cliff, respawn and do it again.
