You do realize that a sab tr can stay in stealth and hit you one time with a dagger to get concussive strikes to activate on you right...I mean since tr's have guaranteed crit while in stealth now. They can keep doing so eventually break stealth cause of it but by that time someone else could have done the damage to kill you.
...
Scoundrels daze, that is what they do (I believe you mean a scoundrel and not a sab). They can do this to someone once in a stealth since their stealth will not last that long and so you are talking about a 2.5 second daze (I am assuming daze will eventually be addressed to reflect CR and such and so will be less) in this manner every stealth. They could manage to do this in the fashion you described every 5 seconds if they gave up doing any damage and the target remained in range. Since this is infective they would of course never do this making the point rather moot.
Ok. Some say the disproportionate class distributions in the Top 500 reflect number of players of each class and not maladjusted/unbalanced mechanics. So here is pie chart of a population of 500 taken from "the middle", pages 1001-1025.
New Pie chart on right represents better what proportion of class is actually being played in PvP. If PvP were balanced, Top 500 pie chart on left should be roughly similar to the one on the right.
TR and CW are the most played PvP classes.
But TR is way over-represented in Top 500 by factor of 2:1 relative to number of TR players.
But SW is way under-represented in Top 500 by factor of 1:4 relative to number of SW players.
GF and DC are slightly underrepresented in Top 500.
This is likely because of simple reason of being largely defensive class.
That HR is slightly underrepresentred (though not by much) in top 500 is surprising,
I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet, but some players are on the top because of exploits. There is YouTube evidence of the *cough* top G *cough* F kicking party members to keep his rank.
