Maximum Number of Bags Per Character?

Is there a maximum number of bags per character? The most any of my character's have is 4, and I think someone may have mentioned elsewhere that there is a 5-bag limit.

Can anyone absolutely confirm this?

    Your main inventory "counts" as a bag slot, so yes - a max of 4 extra bags can be equipped.
    1 Main Inventory Bag + 4 Supplemental Inventory Bags. The main inventory bag is not interchangeable.
