What are the chances to drop Tenser Floatin' Disc from Magnificent Emporium Lockbox?

Last time this month I tried, used up 46 keys and didn't get skull nor disc or anything of significant value. I thought of using another package of 46 keys (5250 zen) my aim is to get the Tenser Disc. But I'm afraid of using it for nothing especially when the new lockbox seems to have a lot of good drop possibilities.

Considering how rare it is, I'd believe those results.

If I were you, I'd save up for a cheaper Legendary Locked Box Mount to trade with Community Manager Akromatik the next time he does his locked box item trading where he'll accept any locked box item for a different locked box item of equal quality. They have to be the same type, mount for mount, companion for companion, artifact for artifact, etc. E.g. a legendary (orange) mount would be tradeable for a Tenser's but an epic (purple) one wouldn't. I also believe they need to be unbound (tradeable).

In fact, that is what I am doing and why I'm selling my Heart of the White Dragon that I just got from a Nine Hells Box today.

If there is one specific item you want from a lockbox you are usually better just selling your keys and buying the item directly from the AH , especially if the thing you want is one of the epic rewards like mounts, companions or artifact gears .

Well, you can just sell ZEN directly, it's easier, faster, and not taxed... :P

Purple mounts/companions/artifacts have a ~1/200 chance. Legendaries probably closer to 1/1000.

Can't tell for the very early lockboxes, Phoera seems to drop at 1/100 in example.

Yeah, it's definitely something I can now see having happened over the course of my lifetime, not just in the MMO genres either, but it is quite prevalent there.

I'm opening tons of lockboxes everyday and sometimes you can have a lot of luck, once I tried with only 20 keys and got 2 laughing skulls and 1 kessell artifact and again with only 20 keys I got Emperor Beetle and Thayan Book of the Dead but there are really bad days tried with 100 keys in a row and got nothing, my advice is that you should never expect to win something and don't feel bad if you lose, spend AD on it only if you really don't care about losing it, if you use $$$ you will feel very bad but it's like wasting money but instead change it to AD, make some investments and use the profit getting a few keys. In this way, you still contribute to the game, you won't lose your $$$ and you still have a chance to try your luck.
