Disappearing companions bug? HELP!

So i was on my low level cleric (level 16) and i just did the companion quest. i already claimed and had been using the frost archer from the promo. i double clicked the new companion i got and it suddenly disappeared from the active slot and was no longer in my inventory... without thinking i double clicked the frost archer to make her the active companion but then she went away too! now they are both just gone and i cannot reclaim the frost archer... idk what happened but im thinking they arent supposed to just disappear. i already tried exiting the game and relogging but they both seem to be permanently gone! has this happened to anyone else or did i make a mistake?

    Your post doesn't make clear if you can't even find the companions in your idle slots (tab of your inventory that has a hand icon).

    Not being able to reclaim the frost archer indicates the game believes you still have one bound to you somewhere.

    They are likely in your idle companion slots. Don't double click. It doesn't do anything reasonable.

    It must be in your idle companion tab.
    I hate dancing with Lady Luck. She always steps on my toes.
