Holy hell Cryptic actually fixed one of the things on the list! In fact, it was probably the last thing I expected them to fix. Preview patch fixes this.

Trapper: Thorned Roots - DoT is removed if CC immunity is applied during the DoT sequence (i.e. TR is ticking on a GWF, and GWF sprints or goes unstoppable - TR dots are removed)
Hunter Ranger: Thorned Roots: This damage component of this power is no longer incorrectly resisted by control resist.
So the problem was never Arp, but the control resist reduced the damage by the same % as control, this means that roots will get a flat damage increase from 20% up to 5x% depending on tenacity and control resist the target has. This looks quiet good

Trappers are gonna be a real pain in pvp now with roots still not being able to be dodged.
Our pain is self chosen.
