From the patch notes: Bottled Lightning: now requires only 5 jars to be sabotaged, all players within interaction distance of a sabotage jar get mission credit, jars respawn 25% faster
The TOD daily quest in Rothe Valley. Tried it right after the patch. Now I no longer get credit for opening my own jars. Or standing near them when they are activated.
Can't do this one either.

Yes confirmed again , no matter what you try there is no way whatsoever to get credit for the jars , both interacting with them yourself or just standing close by does nothing at all, extremely annoying since it is lost Dragon sigils every day we cannot complete it .
Just came here to report this quest being bugged. Not working for me either. I've tried dropping the quest, changing instances, etc. Nothing works. You can click on the lightning jars but you don't get credit for them. Hope they fix this soon. Hard to get enough sigils for anything with quests being broken.
I have received word that the devs are aware of the matter and working on a fix, however, there is no concrete ETA at this time.

I am posting here to confirm that this is a MAJOR issue that is affecting everyone that I have encountered trying to complete this quest; that would number in the thousands of players at this point (according to the comments I have heard in zone chat). I would also like to say, with respect, that I did not get the impression from lewstelamon01's post that this issue was particularly "high priority" and would only be fixed when the devs "got around to it". I apologize if that was not what the moderator was trying to communicate, but that is the impression I got from reading their post.
Just to explain this situation better: Bottled Lightning is one of the quests you MUST complete to clear the intro quest series into the area. If Bottled Lightning is non-functional, anyone who has not already unlocked Rothe Valley can not do so. Therefore Whispering Cavern dailies are also locked out by default; not to mention access to Artifact Weapons are also locked out. Meaning, as it stands right now, Neverwinter's current "flagship" module is broken as a whole and can not be completed by ANYONE who has not already done so. I would personally call ALL PROGRESS in your current flagship product having ground to a halt a MAJOR ISSUE that should be fixed (or rolled back to its original functional state) IMMEDIATELY. But, maybe that is just me.
Please post an update on this issue and clarify its status. Thank you for any and all attention to this. IMHO, 24 hours is way too long to have let this go, and we are working on day 3 now. Just saying.
Telling us about upcoming content updates, and getting those updates out the door BUG-FREE, is *AWESOME*!! Know what's even *MORE* awesome? Fixing game breaking bugs (and/or undocumented "features") that have been in EXISTING content for months/years!!! Guess which one makes me want to spend money on a game much more than the other? Hint: It's the "more awesome" one.
I am also a developer and it is very disappointing that developers push untested feature on the production. It was at most 10 minutes to do the most basic test
I hope it was all by purpose and it is some kind of trick to give us bonus +10 sigils as an apology for inconvenience. Because i really cannot belive they miss such a thing. And you know - give us +10 sigils for free with no reason will be admit that whole grind project was bad. In this situation it would be more like "sorry for our little fault". And YES it is a suggestion.

The same applies to the "fix" of the CN door, the change to the Twin Scorpions, and so on. It's a bit mind-boggling. There's going to be a lot of grumbling when this quest comes up in "Common Cause".

According to a post in the general forum it looks like they are planning a fix for this Tuesday.
