You have to be kidding right? Any more "legendary" items will result in the game being a mere tutorial for remedial students.

Give it time. The game is clearly ramping up to a higher difficulty level. DC changes highlight that. Legendary items will be relevant in PvE. Just takes time for everything to coalesce.

I reckon the DC and TR changes were made because both classes were so underpowered in PVE.
I'm seeing more heroic encounters and dailies so I do have my doubts about that.
Looks like someone didn't see the Module 5 preview
I saw them xD.
I don't see how, with the all the feedback they've gotten, they can actually say that people want more artifact equipment. In-game, very few people are positive about it and a quick Google search will support this as well. If they want it in the game to make money, that's fine, but they shouldn't say the players want it in game because that's necessarily accurate (if it is I'd like them to take an official poll and honor those results).
Personally I would pay more for better fashions, transmutes and mounts than I would for another "legendary" item. Mobs are already decimated in a matter of seconds with epic gear.

I voted no.
Legendary items should be ultra rare. Obtaining it through RNG makes that so for the belts but the weapons are far too easy to achieve (well maybe not the exact one you want the first, second, third or fourth time) to be classed 'legendary'. Getting it there outside of the double RP weekend might be a legendary feat but the artifact weapons have made Weaponsmithing obsolete and that was a bad move.
Cryptic should have stuck to the jewelry (neck/rings/belt) for artifact slots. I give it a year before we see all-orange character sheets.

90% of the playerbase is nowhere near ready for more artifact slots yet. Find some other way of expanding the game. A new class would me nice. And new dumgeons and rewards - Ok, but not more artifact slots this year, plz.
With dreams to be a king, first one should be a man.
let me guess , new legendary armors next module ?
pfff ok for the off hand but why more and more refining things -_-
is this the only way they find to keep a player busy ? well for your information dear Devs , this sucks , its BORRING !
If like me, you think that the endgame is pvp, then each mod added just makes it more difficult to stay competitive, while remaining as much as possible free to play.
During the early days, people were chasing rank 10s, which were doable, considering they were all people had to focus on after they'd got their T2s and weapon enchants. Then artifacts were added, and gave you something more to chase. Then profound and black ice gear, which were a grind, and in the latter case, a matter of rng. Chase number three. Now artifact gear, near complete rng to get, and realistically, real money to upgrade.
It's just gotten to the point where there aren't enough hours in the day, or AD obtainable, to stay competitive in neverwinter. Without your credit card handy, you will lag behind those that do and you will never catch them, because by the time you do, a new mod will have introduced something new, bis, and incredibly expensive to grind.
It always was a factor, but now it has become a blatent money grab. Right now, if a belt did drop, I wouldn't even consider equipping it, I'd pass it on to someone else like a curse.

now they want to add legendary offhand and neck too
so farming dungeons in t1 and t2 will be useless now?

Has been for a while.
This. I've not had anything to really farm for a while. CN was still somewhat worth it in mod 1 and kind of 2. Past that, there was kind of nothing.
