STOP. By the nine hells, please make it stop! I logged into the game only to be greeted with an unending cacophony of the new basic Cleric companion's summoning lines, E.g. "I have one word for you. Leeches." "You're as good as new! Well, nearly." "I do hope your next wound is unique!" and lets not forget, "Could you fight something with a big... club?"

"Could you shut the hell up before I give YOU a unique wound?!" Seriously I must have sat there, grinding my teeth for a good 45 seconds while I heard this unending stream of cleric companion chatter assaulting my sanity!

Please, please, please bring back the old cleric companion, she was quieter and never bothered anyone...

But I digress, that new cleric companion really needs a gag or something before he finds himself being dangled head first over the maw of a Red Dragon! Better yet the maws of Tiamat herself!!

    Praise the gods for my faithful initiate. Don't ever have to put up with that <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> while I'm alone.

    The bounty master in the Chasm was horrendous when it came to spamming his various phrases... fortunately they toned that down.

    If I had to guess, though, I think that companions say their lines whenever someone spawns in, and in PE that happens a lot more than other places...

    Healer drama. I actually like it. But they could have been a lot more direct. This is not realistic. Something like "you should thank me for being there" or "we succeed because I'm awesome!" or "how many times are you going to die to your own stupidity"... Something actual cleric players may say. :p

    Thank you for making this thread I am sure many more of us are sick to death of this cleric, I would have some words for that voice actor if I ever see him lol. Please give us an option to disable his dialogue and bring back the old cleric as an alternative. Also while the Man-at-Arms doesn't say anything annoying he keeps doing stupid bodybuilding poses, please get rid of this or let us toggle it off.

    I will pay to get rid of the dialogue though, add a purple female cleric companion to the Zen store that has all the same abilities and I will buy it instantly.

    Once again, options we are not given would save us all from this unending stream of uninteresting <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>.

    Options>Audio>Advanced>Turn off Companion Speech Y/N

    How f'ing hard would that be?

    I always thought he said peaches. I always thought that was random as hell.:)

    Ok, I laughed pretty hard over that. :D Just had to say.

    I agree, though. I mean, I was pretty amused the first time it was said. But it gets annoying fast. Especially in areas where there's a lot of spawn/respawning. I don't have half as many problems with Man-at-Arms posing as the Wayward Wizard constantly pointing and laughing. It's one of those things that are distracting, especially during a serious part of a plot. Or potentially after just dying and respawning. "Yes, we just died, I'm sure it was funny, now stop laughing!"

    For the grace of the gods! Im here, in your time of need, etc. I find that more annoying then leeches and unique wounds.

    I seriously doubt they toned it down. Every time I leave Spellplague Caverns I hear...

    Rewards given...for abominations slain!

    I actually just complained the other day. But I am glad somebody else complained about the vocality of companions. I like the voices but a cooldown would be nice (ONE companion for every 30 seconds maybe).

    The new cleric companion voice has been annoying me massively while running around PE.
    (which I do a lot)

    I swear the other day the lines were echoing in my head like a bad song.

    I vote to bring back the original cleric companion. I don't know why in the hell they changed it to the emasculated male in the first place.

    First.. I too always thought he said peaches...

    Second... OMG yes his voice has gotten way past annoying. And I was at Sharandar last night, and had 4 or 5 of them go off right after the other... couldn't get out of there fast enough.

    Its gotten to the point I want to strangle the voice actor... please make it stop!

    Now then, if I was allowed to have 2 companions or more out at once, then I'm sure my Erinyres and co. would take great delight in getting him to shut up!!! and believe me, after a few glares and comments from an Erinyres, a Fey Panther, a Lilend and an Owl, it's either be quiet or run for your live, I know I'd be quiet, as I can't out run any of them :)

    I'm so glad I'm not alone in this... We should start a movement to have that particular Cleric companion gagged... Permanently. xD

    He still says "Peaches" even if he means "Leeches" because there is a very obvious lisp going on there (Even though I know he says leeches, I still and probably always will hear "peaches" - bad pronunciation by the voice actor on that one.

    It's *almost* as bad as the stupid freebie wizard who says "Is it real or is it an ALLUSION?" (Rather than ILLUSION). LOL

    It's not the voice actor's fault, it's the sound director's fault (Yes Cryptic employee in charge of this stuff, I am looking at YOU. (Yes I know who you are, but naming and shaming is not allowed here))

    I like it so much that i've changed my cleric appearance to look like him and his name is now... Leeches!

    but I still like it mor: "I'm an honest fighter"

    new cleric is terrible. And entering sharandar makes me what to mute. Chore of clerics is terrible.

    Leeches are quite amazing in medical applications , they used to use them to bleed people in the olden days and they are now being used in modern hospitals to treat people too - http://health.howstuffworks.com/medicine/modern-treatments/leeches-in-modern-medicine.htm
