So, Ive been wondering how those things work out for a DC?
I mean it says "You have a 2% chance after killing a foe to find a Refining Stone at your feet" ,seriously?! How am I supposed to have any freakin chance for that when Im a DC? My guildies who play CW, SW or HR keep sayin how many of refining stones they get on dungeons or while doing dailies or even PvP.. I had 3 or 4 of those stones and all I got were 2 really lame refining items (only 2, and I was using them for about a week..).
Seriously, why they keep making it so unfair for DCs? Not only doing dailies alone on IWD or even ToD (for example Ghost Stories) is seriously hard for us, they also dont give us any chance to loot something cool.. to refine our artifact weapons/belts or just make some AD..
Same goes for pretty much ALL utility enchantments, they all are about "killing someone to get something", just awesome.
Is anyone else really annoyed by that? Cause I am.
they have an internal cooldown, so no matter how many you are killing you wont be getting any extra. Get % around 8-10 and find 10 mobs every 20 seconds, a stone will drop.
I do agree that DC should have a Decent DPS path (or at least options in the current ones) for solo play, but I don't understand how if you are doing dailies alone you are not getting drops?
Yeah from a players viewpoint that would be obvious way forward but knowing the developers we will get a single target healer , a group healer and a feat tree to heal bad guys lmfao
If you get the Burning Guidance boon from Dread Ring, you may find that a lot of the time, you do most of the killing. Not because you necessarily do more damage than anyone else, but because you pretty much do constant damage.. so you end up delivering the last hit.
When I first got this I had to scratch my head- because in skirmishes, etc, I started ending up with the 'Executioner' position- a lot, and without even trying.
Of course, it may work differently for others, build, stats and gear and all that. I also don't know for sure that this will work with that enchantment, as my cleric doesn't have one yet. Just a lot of 'confirmed kills.' Hahaha!

Not really. DC is support character and should remains so and many debuffer tank DCs already kill my CW quite effortless. All DC players should make alt character as main or secondary character, as they should realize DC is support only. I also have this exact same problem with my alt tank character, who seems like a bloody turtle when gathering anything, including Kessel's tokens compared to my main CW.
Some characters simply are better at some tasks and thus you should make alt that can compensate for your main's weaknesses.
Also I think there should be some added chance for drop after certain amount healed/debuffed to circumvent this problem.
Give us 4 or more power/item bar profiles so we can change powers and items with one click that are suited for the situation.

Pretty much this.
And DCs are not weak at the solo campaign content (Ghost Stories can be a pain in the backside for any character, but most of it), as long as you don't try to do them with all your healing powers slotted.
(I do feel pretty helpless on my DC if I forget to switch back to DPS powers and engage in combat. But not normally.)

So maybe one of the reworked feat trees will be DPS DC
DPS tree, healer tree and defense tree *_*
