You know that awkward for minutes waiting for the dragon to show up where everyone is just standing silently around a portable alter in the middle of the dragon circle? Well I get bored so I start to er, inspect people. I noticed one las’ Character Bio stating she’s a Level II dragon Slayer. So I checked my journal >Achievements>Slayer> I’m a Dragon Slayer II 11/50. My question is this: What constitutes a “kill”? As a hunter, I know I’m not doling out as much damage as others, but we’re all hitting the dragon, so how does it calculate who gets the kill? By the most damage done?

Participation in a fight with a dragon (drakes in Karrundax also count). I'm not sure what the damage threshold is but it's fairly generous. It has nothing to do with striking a killing blow.
Hunter Rangers can do enormous damage on dragons using Aimed Shot, by the way.
