Oh nice, now CWs will have no chance against GFs. Thanks alot of the Balance. SPEAKING of balance. GF, supremacy of steel, red dragon glyphs, constant maxed out action point bar. Makes them and their team impossible to kill and if you for once enter a PvP against the GFs abusing this you will see it yourself. You cant attack anybody.
How hard and how long do you have to take to do something about dragon hoard coins, even as a temporary measure it should be simple to just increase the freaking stack limit. It's not hard, but you ignore the issue you guys have caused for some of the player base, luckily not so much me since I have multiple toons. Seriously it's a joke for you to neglect loads of issues.
Also I think CWs may be the worst controllers in pvp now. GWF/GF have some CC with shorter casts that can chain CC you and can actually tank. I think perma freeze was a little OP as well as other things. As others have said, it seems to be a little too strong and kind of makes the RoF artifact and oppressor tree can of rubbish now.

They absolutely destroyed CW with this patch. Some freeze gave us a chance against HR/GF. a good GWF will not get freezed anyway if he uses his sprint right.

The problem is that they dident know how OP other classes were until they geared up which also they had a higher skill cap. While CWs was OP from the beginning of the MOD because of the skill less procc damage, but that slowly faded away as the other classes adapted their build and now a cw dosent win a 1v1 at top level unless its against another CW: after this patch? you can suck on a stick , its game over. Thank you for letting me spend 20 millions on my cw so far as i only find out we will be useless again.

I think the too-high players per instance limits for Rothe Valley and Whsipering Caverns is what can cause extreme lag to the extent of players and the dragon vanishing from sight and cooldowns showing as ready but still being 2 seconds in cooldown occuring.
Now, this needs to be balanced with newer players needing to be able to join each other in instances to complete quests in large areas such as Whispering Caverns versus instances swamped temporarily by dragon hunters.
A quick fix not helping questing-players so much may be to simply soft cap instances with Dragon Encounters to 20 and hard cap at 25. (like Ebon Downs).
A more complex fix (for Whispering Caverns mainly) would be to preferentially assign players under level 60 or with active non-daily quests to instances #1-#3, and those who have them completed or not picked up to instances #4+.
For areas that are naturally under level 60, one could simply make level 60 players always end up in instance #6+ and lower players always in #1-5 unless they are partied.
One could optionally go as far as disabling the Heroic Encounter itself spawning in specific instances as above to better designate these areas for players actively questing.
- Chill stacks, Icy Rays no longer affect through block
- a full cast of Ray of Frost after a freeze takes place does NOTHING because of Chill Immunity.
Not much else can be said.
Keep in mind:
- GF overall 50% DR almost all the time
- GF moves fast with block up
- GF has 50K+ HP
- GF pretty much never runs out of stamina---->PERMA-BLOCK

- Block animation is NOT sufficiently visible. This needs a very clear animation.
- is a CW supposed to go behind a GF to land a CC?!? Why, this requires a squish robe-clad class to go in melee range lol. You gotta be STUPID to do that when GF hits so hard.

- let Icy Rays and Chill go through Block as they used to
- offer 3 secs Chill Immunity after Freeze as implemented now.

They receive lots of AP for blocking and the more damage you block, the more AP you gain. Once (in M3) as a GF I blocked that heavy golem hit (strikes in front after huge swing) and it filled my AP gauge from 0 to almost 100%. With buffed block, which lasts ridiculously long, you can block much more damage then previously, which in turn fills your AP way faster then before. Either tone down block duration on AP gain for blocking.
M6 almost drains your soul given how boring it is. (c) joocycuzzzzzz
Oh dear lord, the only thing that was needed is a nerf on storm spell, leave freezing the way it's on live. How hard is it for you to notice what's really wrong???
GFs are in need of some fixes. Knight's Valor causes extreme lag (and has issues with reflecting damage and some other effects, involving very high AP generation).
Red dragon glyphs need to be toned down as well.
Armor switching in PvP needs to be fixed in some way.
HR Piercing Blade and self-healing should be toned down.
Those chill changes are absurd, it is a fundamental mechanic for a CW, it affects feats and class features with these changes.
I don't play wizard right now because its too overpowered, but these changes breaks a component of the class, rather than nerf it.
You should have jsut reduced the frozen duration, and make it so frozen targets take 50% less damage, or change it into a root, or revert it back to what it used to be before.
ill ask once again where are the fixes to broken class animations?

Dragon Hoard coins still not sorted? Just make them stack to 999, it doesn't take a series of meetings to come up with a "creative" solution. Very poor.
As for CW chill immunity, it disregards all the feats and the artifact weapon that give bonus chill as their main selling point. If you change the way chill works then you should rework all the other places chill is used. What's the point of an artifact weapon that gives bonus chills when you're locked out of using chill? Whoever came up with this idea really hasn't thought it through (same guy who came up with at-wills depleting stealth for TR, right?).
Shame we don't have a bug forum advocate to let the devs know how stupid this idea is since obviously they won't bother reading any of these comments. But hey, at least they gave us a whole day to test it before forcing it onto live tomorrow.
please give us ability to discard currencies soon i wont be able to proced in campaign due to lack of space thx to Dragon Hoards thou.
the other solution would be ability to trade dragon hoards for dragon sigils or scrols

with the insane amount of control that the class puts on the table in pve, the overall damage needs to be in line with the gf (or lose much more control).
make choices is not the key word of the new "balance"?

Nice job Devs, make HRs even more op and cc breakers than they are now. This is just stupid.
Not sure about the effect it will have for CW in PvP. BUT people forget one thing and that's the new artifact weapon that adds 1 extra chill stack after 1 second and another stack after 4 seconds. This means we can freeze players FASTER but then we have to work on staying alive once they go immune for 3 seconds.
Use repel/entangle once they are immune to stall them for 3 seconds and use the teleport if you need more time.
But it wont work if I never get the artifact weapon. Failed 7 times so far to get the one with ray of frost bonus. RNG.
Well the stack after 4 seconds is completely useless. By the time it applies they're already frozen and chill immunity has taken place. 3 secs is also a long time to be a sitting duck. You really might as well be gwf/gf or even hr for control. Not such restrictions for them and they can take the beating.
Can you please use less vitriol and be more specific on what this issue is referring to exactly?

I believe he may be referring to these:
Enemies: Large falling rocks in Lair of Lostmauth ignore Control Immunity
Enemies: Fire Scorpion self destruct ignores Control Immunities
For the large rocks (not the small ones), the AoE is also very slightly larger than the red indicator
How will these changes to freeze affect powers and feats that refresh and extend chill? Does this break the entire mechanic of chill, making those feats and powers all but useless? If so, does this not then break the entire class as far as it's role of being the main source of CC in a dungeon?

Can you please stop ignoring what Red Dragon Glyphs are doing to PvP? People are not playing anymore.
Because of how GFs act with them. Its impossible to kill any of their team members or the GF it self of course with this overload slot. Why did you only fix the blue one? In domination run you will see that Supremacy of Steel is constantly up, Knight Valor, some other GF buffs that damage you on damage taken, it means you constantly recieve 600 damage from Red Dragon Glyphs, which also means that their action points are up all the time, which makes SoS up constantly.
If you run a domination you will see that you only need to hold up your shield to kill everyone, its not right. Also i would post ACT if it wasent illegal now and show you how much damage GFs does with this.
I'll also point out that ACT has been allowed and the note saying that it was not allowed has since been removed.

You tested these changes in the Preview Server? first test them and give your opinion about this.
