Wow, you sure are a master necromancer...reviving a thread that was laid to rest over a year ago.

Just do as you are told...go to a mailbox and hit F -that will open your mailbox, and then you can attach items. You can read your mail anywhere, but you can only send and receive attachments through mailboxes.

Now, allow this thread to go back to its grave, please.
    Hoping for improvements...

Since Im a helpful fella. I think I understand you.

    I think I = Inventory

When you have the compose mail page up. Click somewhere not in a text box (like not in the address box). Like the border, then try pressing I (inventory, whatever you have it bound to). Then just drag drop in those slots. Dont discard it on accident.

If that doesnt work, im not entirely sure, and you'll want to send a support ticket.

Yes I= Inventory :) And thxs for your quick replies. That seems to work but now another issue has arrised I cant sent my second character any of the items I have for that class. It say that I need to list him as friend?? So I try to do that and it doesnt recognize the name I also got both of them on the same shard or instance so I am somewhat lost there as well theres no help in the so call help to resolve this issue would you happen to know why this doesnt work?? I notice you need a handle?? I am somewhat confused on a Handle I usually would think the name is all you need??

Nps glad the Inventory thing worked. Umm

Well your handle is the @whatever. So like when I look ingame. My character name is sam, but my handle would be the @whatever. So usually you see like sam@whatever listed on the AH. the @whatever is your handle. When sending to characters on the same account. All you have to do for the address is type @whatever. Then actually just save that 1 letter and you can reply and itll automatically fill in that part. Youll be able to read that mail on all your characters on that 1 account. (whatver isnt YOUR actual handle, its whatever you made up for the account heh)

Now some items are bound in particular ways, Itll say in the top right corner of the item description. Itll say like bind to account, bind to character, or bind on equip.

Bind to account means you can send it freely to any of your characters on that account, but only that account, Bind to character means iits stuck on that 1 character and cant be moved to another. Bind on equip means you can send it to wherever/and whoever, but when they equip it, itll be stuck on that character.

Of course, the other way to get items to you other characters is to use the account-wide bank slots - doesn't work for things you cannot put in the bank slots, of course, but great for anything else,
    Hoping for improvements...

These were pulled from a necro'd thread. Now that the issue's been addressed and answered, I'm closing this down.

In short: OP, you'll need to use (F) on an actual Mailbox or Mail Courier to send or claim items. The normal mail interface only allows for the reading of mail and the composition of text only mail.
