idk about how he figures no pity, no mercy into that but i get different results from calcing crit vs dam. going by the results, damage seems to be worth more at the same severity. things change when u consider perfect vorpal though.
Because if you calcuate the damage as crit alone then yes you wont' get much of an increase. A 1% raise in your crit rate (I was going by a 50% severity) is a 0.5 DPS increase that's basic math. If its' 75% severity, then it is a 0.75% increase. Charisma is also an increase to your Combat Advantage of 1%. That's 1.75% increase then to DPS, if you've done nothing to your severity, like taking the feat. Because of No Pity, No Mercy, everything you crit you always have combat advantage on.
It's a flat 5% onto the end %. You'll see the increase on the actual % number. If it was 5% increase to the lifesteal stat I wouldn't bother with it as it'd probably only increase the % by 0.3% or so for me. Basically because it isn't on the diminishing returns there isn't really any reason for a temptation warlock not to get it.
Thanks but that was the number i was refering to, i had 12% and then specced into it and it was still only 12%, i thought it might be tied to combat or something but no dice, server is down now so can't check if a relogg will fix it but it bummed me out, thought i'd wasted 80k.

It's 4% because I messed up on my previous respec and ended up having to miss out on that one point until I bother to go in and fix it. But I want to wait until I choose everything that I need exactly to get it exactly right next time.
Second one is with Hope Stealer just to show the flat %.
