How about Dragon Horde Coin for Contest entries.

If you really want some of the new featured contest entries to get plays, why not add 3 coins per 15 minutes in the foundry. So, if the featured one for the week is a 1 hour tough dungeon crawl give 12 coins. (I mean in reality dragon hunting hopping map to map yields 25-45 and hour if your good. Maybe add a chance for one of the items.

This would get you plenty of plays plus new weekly content for players to play when they grind there Dragon Campaign.

I think they will be enough plays normally. I was looking at the frequency since the module hit and it has been almost the same. 1000ish rates per week if your quest is 15-45 minutes long (check simple request which has over 2k and started at only 60-100 i think). and 500-600 for 1hr+. Infact i think there was an increase in plays because of warlocks leveling up (alot of comments from what i saw mentioned their warlock).

Considering that people are already complaining that they have too many of these coins and nothing to do with them from farming heroics, probably not a great idea. Cannot sell, cannot discard, cannot spend, and already cannot help amassing more of them from doing daily campaign quests and trying to get rare item drops.

Yeah what are the Horde Coins actually FOR? If they have a purpose, then I could understand having them in featured contest foundries as a way of tying them in, but since I have not seen their value (read: anything to do with them) then I can't say it's compelling. Might change my mind if someone could tell me what good they are.

Yeah, dragon hoard coins don't seem to be in short supply for most people. It's a good idea though. Maybe one of the other currencies would work instead.
Neverwinter players are stubborn things....until you strip them down to bone. (Cursed players, my flowers, MINE!) Oh how I plotted their demise.

This will work great if there was alot more things to actually use them on.

Like the fashion items and maybe the weapons (for a quite high amount of coins and bind on account) and some other cool stuff. So people can actually use the all those coins trying to get stuff they want from the dragon but arent getting them. And have an alternate way of earning coins rather than fighting dragons endlessly, can play some foundry content.

its a win win for everyone and vastly encourages foundry play and more uses than whats currently stale in both aspects (foundry and the dragon coin currency)

I haven't gotten very far into the ToD campaign; I've seen an obscure reference to hoard coins being used "for campaign progression" but no explanation of what that really means. What are the coins actually FOR? Do you spend them to unlock quests or something?

I have probably played more of the foundries for the contest then most. I can say that there is easily 10 that are better then the 10 minute kill quests that the five alliances grant you. The difference, they have cool boss fights, better drops, tons of chests, and campaign resources.

They should really reward the winners and include them in the campaign as another dungeon to run to gather campaign resources.
