Not sure how long it will be down, it probably depends how many quests are up total, although usually the editor goes up before the editor does if I remember correctly.
As for new stuff, they are on preview now. We get Icewind Dale encounters, Tyranny of Dragons encounters (No dragons aside from the little wingless drakes though ), and not really sure what else yet, (Probably some detail assets, although I'm guessing not too many since the new areas are just new sections of old ones aside from the dungeon and skirmish. Didn't see anything else, although I didn't check that thoroughly aside from the encounters (Reskinning a bear rides can be very interesting, I'll just leave it at that), which include single Red Iron Golems, Frost Giants, and Skeletal Frost giants, which are all solo difficulty as well. (Sadly, Skeletal Frost Giants don't seem to animate well when reskinned)
Neverwinter players are stubborn things....until you strip them down to bone. (Cursed players, my flowers, MINE!) Oh how I plotted their demise.

I still can not get into some basic web sites - this might hinder MOD 4 as well - yesterday was almost unplayable today was OK.

Foundry is currently still up for me. Here's hoping it stays that way.
It wasn't fun fixing stuff in the patch on the 7th. My quest is much more polished now.... just adding optional things until submission.
Does anyone happen to know if the patch will have new foundry stuff? I wasn't here for Feywild, Dreadring releases.... and I'm curious when the patch hits if they new stuff was immediately added or not until later....
Only things the foundry got for this xpac was a hand full of encounters which shpuld have been released during the last xpac... I thought there was talk of how the Foundry was to be a huge focus for this expansion, yet I see nothing other than what I previously mentioned, how utterly disappointing, there really isn't much incentive to continue, while contests are nice and all they do little to breath new life into the foundry that boss encounters, updated detail kits, and branching quest lines could. Mehh...just mehh.

Ah yes, now foundry is down for me too. Editor and all non-featured quests seem to be down (except maybe some in the "Best" tab. Didn't search). Oh well.

If I remember correctly, with the publication of the last Module, it took a couple of days for the Catalog of Foundry adventures to rebuild. Every time I checked it, a few more adventures became available. That seems to be the case this time as well. So the Best and Featured tabs begin filling, and eventually the other ones start showing up, too.
No. Mod 4.5 is supposed to be "big" development push.
I really hope they are doing a BIG dev push for the foundry. I have to concur that the incentive...is well... non-existant?
People just don't play the Foundry stuff. Time to revisit the motivators.

I think they should make a seperate Foundry Loot System. Honestly. Whether that be Profession Resources (including epics), or whatever. They really need to make an incentive. If it's not loot then it should be because it's just fun, which means giving us a better editor with many more options.
Anyhow, I hope the foundry comes up soon because I still need to submit for featuring for the contest.... and I need to check too see if the patch messed another billion things up in my quest.

I fell we should get a buncha of new detail objects from each previous expansion. More maps while we're at it too.
Well, as expected, the Foundry Catalog is slowly beginning to fill up with adventures once again. My Featured ones appeared pretty quickly, but now the non-featured ones are becoming listed as well. I saw at least one of the Dumedalot series in the Catalog this afternoon, as well as my contest entry.
Oh, and for what it's worth, it seems that Module 4 may be succesful in actually leaving our adventures in working condition. At least, I ran through all of mine that have appeared so far and they're working correctly. So that's a good sign. Obviously your mileage may vary, but here's hoping that we don't have to go back in and fix a bunch of bugs.

I wouldn't hold your breath. Dragons sure didn't appear on the Preview Foundry before Module 4 went live, and I can't imagine them adding "boss" level monsters without creating some sort of boss mechanic for the Foundry. There will be a couple of new assets to play with, and it's likely we'll get a patch with art & critters for the Foundry a little ways down the road. But dragons? Nah... not yet. (Yeah, I'm sad about that, too. Seems a game called "Dungeons & Dragons" would let us put dragons in our dungeons. But what do I know...)

We got a handful of "Cult of the Dragon Ver 2" encounters - including drakes, Red & Green Iron Golems (solo), a Red Iiron Golem (solo), and ....hmm seems like there should be another set completing encounter... ; we also got some barbarians, a new solo Dire Polar bear with Polar Bear, a single Polar Bear, ....hmm seems like there should be another set completing encounter...
Manager: "Oh yeah, we should send a few 'new' things to the Foundry. Hey Mongo, copy the first 3 new CotD encounters, and the first 3 new Beast encounters into the Foundry folder."
Completely baffling. Talk about sending the message-"we could really, really care less about that stupid foundry."
So is the foundry up yet? I haven't submitted to cryptic either because I wanted to see how much teh new module would screw it up before doing so, I really hope the foundry is back up before the 19th.
