    Easy fix:

Hire some intern, have them sit in PE for a day and ban them instantly when they spam. Hell, people would probably volunteer to do it free. Enforce some code of conduct for said volunteers (must take a SS of the issue or whatever) and put someone in charge of them to avoid abuse....

The spammers will quickly learn that it is simply not worth their time.

I received a bunch of spam PMs on Monday, so I now have all of my alts set to Visible to Friends Only.

yea..if not for the fact they can do this at the starting zone, before they even picked up their first gear from the crates. And trust me, they can make them a LOT faster than you can ban them and file a nice report with evidence.

They can spam the zone chat of PE from the starting zone? Didn't think that was possible. If you are talking PMs, yea I guess.

Set chat permissions outside of the tutorial zone to only unlock once you enter PE at least once. Until then, you are instanced and can only chat with people in the tutorial zone. If you need help getting through the tutorial, then your tutorial either fails or the player is not going to have fun in your game anyways.

Thats about what, 4-5 minutes to just blast through the tutorial...just to get banned.

Please report problem players through In-Game Support. One can easily do so by simply right-clicking on their name in chat and choosing "Report Spam." If it happens here on the forums, press the "Report Post" icon on the bottom left of any post or private message. One can also forward malicious Perfect World Entertainment related spam emails to customerservice@perfectworld.com

The forums here however, are not a place to discuss bad behavior.

You can hide yourself from the in-game online list by going into your Social Screen (O by default) then choose "Preferences" on the bottom and in the new window, drop down and choose your desired visibility setting.

    Safe travels,
