I have a lvl 57TR, which I played with a year ago, now my fresh character, a CW just hit lvl60.
I buy epic gear from AH piece by piece, but that will not give me the necessary GS needed to go with random runs.
As I cannot go with random runs I cannot even get experience in those dungeons.
I consider myself a good player, I have been on top of the DPS list all the time with a big gap to the 2nd, when in a team of similar lvl players, but that is not enough if I lack the gear and experience.
So how can I start with the endgame content?
Thanks for your answers in advance

Thaumaturge's Time To Shine: A Complete Guide
With junk purple and level 60 blue gear from the AH and the enchants you made, you can easily get a decent GS to get into dungeons. It won't be top of the line by any means, but you'll be able to complete them with a decent group. If you have the AD, I would recommend getting a Burning Shard of Elemental Fire orb or maybe the Orb of the Arcane Overseer if it isn't too expensive. Otherwise, you can find a decent 'starter' orb in the Dread Ring lair Phantasmal Fortress, though it's a random drop.
As far as finding parties, your best bet is to find a decent guild or a custom chat channel to find groups with. The Legit Community is pretty good, as long as you don't want to glitch stuff or otherwise exploit. Most people there are pretty good about taking newer players along. Enter this in the chat window if you want to join: /channel_join nw_legit_community
Just keep in mind that exploits are highly disliked and for the most part people don't want to know your GS. Many runs are 'greed all' so it's best to ask before hitting Need on anything. Also, let people know you are inexperienced when you are looking for a group.
There is a bug with the DD chests right now, which will make things harder. The best practice is to sell BOE items even it would be an upgrade and keeping running the dungeon until you get the piece from the chest.
If possible, revive your TR and get to level 60. Take both characters through the first two campaigns or at least get the first three boons in one - Dread Ring will be faster for this. That way you can get to Icewind Dale and run them through the artifact quest there. That will give you access to three free artifacts.

Where can I get enchants unslotted?
During leveling I just used rank3 encahnts and sold them with the gear.
Now I put rank 4s in the new gear, do not know if it is worth putting 5s and removing them.
I do not have so much AD now (even trashed about 70kAD accidentally with profession rushing -.-" *facepalm)
Is there a better way for getting AD than just the dailies? Any good trading opportunities? Or a profession that makes good profit?
Why do you recommend reviving my TR? I stopped playing NW a yr ago after the TR nerfs, now I will get CW nerfs too, but I startad a Thaum MoF CW because of that so it will not be hit hard.
I am following this guide mostly: <link removed>
You'll be fine following that guide. It's a good one.
He recommends reviving your TR because in Icewind Dale every class that you have that is level 60, has 3 boons from Dread Ring or Sharandar, and has 10k gear score gets a special quest. That quest will give that character a class-specific artifact. Once one character has it EVERY character you have can also get it. That means your CW will be able to have a CW artifact and a TR artifact which will help your gear score quite a bit.
To learn how to get AD go here:

To unslot enchantments right-click the item, select "manage enchantments" and then remove it. It will ask you if you are sure you want to spend X amount of gold to unslot it and click "yes." It won't be expensive to make sure you have all rank 5 enchants before you go dungeon running.
To get boons go to Sgt Knox. He'll have two contacts for you which open up Sharandar and the Dread Ring. Both of those places involve you running around doing a handful of tasks once a day (and one once a week) that will give you items. You spend those items to gradually unlock things like boons. Once you have enough boons and are above 10 gear score Sgt Knox will have another contact for you that opens up Icewind Dale. Same story. Do daily tasks to gradually unlock stuff.
You can do it anywhere. Open your character sheet or inventory as appropriate. Right click on the item and select, 'Manage Enchantments.' There will be an option for unslotting it. It costs 2.5 gold to unslot something from a level 60 item, less for for lower level items. Don't worry about the gold cost, you'll get tons of Greater ID scrolls and unidentified items as you run dailies. ID the blue items (they drop frequently) and sell them for their full value. Sell the greens without ID'ing them.
Remove them from the gear you want to sell. Refine them in place (right click item and click 'refine enchantment') on the items you keep. You can make the rank 4s into rank 5s easily enough. Just use the refining menu to add the enchants you find in your travels. You'll need green marks of potency, try to save those up as you find them at least until all your enchants are rank 5.

Even if you're flat broke at the moment, invoking can give you enough AD today to replace any of your gear that isn't level 60 and either blue or purple. Most level 60 blue items cost about 100 AD on the Auction House. Use your guide to determine what stats you need and look over the blue gear on the AH to find what's best. You really can't go wrong with finding armor 'of Restoration.' that stacks lifesteal though.
It's for the class artifacts. To get them, you have to have at least two characters who can go to Icewind Dale, which means they need 10k GS and at least three boons from one of the campaigns. As your TR only needs three levels to get to 60 and start the campaigns, and you can get the 3rd DR boon in fairly quickly, you'll be able to get both to IWD and pick up the quest to get the class artifacts.
You have no idea how many times I ran normal temple of the spider to get my T2 chest.. since everyone wants 14k+ to just do the epic. Doesn't help when you need a piece of gear.
This was a bug which has since been fixed, so no... no you can't.

Ah, didn't catch they had "fixed" it. How long ago was it?
And why put the quotation around fixed? It was obviously not an intentional change they went back on. Sarcasm quotes only work when they "fixed" something that wasn't broken.

It's been broken for some time, and that's at least a few months. Maybe more. All I know was that I was leveling my DC then and someone passed the info onto me. Played my DC for a while and geared up legit, then I leveled my CW from the ground up, once to 30 but then decided to change the race. Then got my T1 gear then my T2 gear. So yeah, sarcasm fits if it takes them this long to patch a supposed bug.
Anyways, for the OP, disregard cheesing the dungeons then.
As far as I could tell, that bug was kept hushed up as much as people could manage.

I did not know it was a bug at all, no one notified me it was a bug. If I did, I would have reported it. I'm not one of those played since beta, I only started in 2014.
Thank you so much!
becky and alkemist please do not get into off-topic her, I would not want mods to delete this thread with all this info.
Sorry mate, was trying to be helpful but apparently that got shot down.
Anyways a good place to get starter epic gear is doing dead ring and sharandar mini dungeon delves. There is a chance to get epic gear. If you go to the campaign screen, select the area and sort by zone, you can see what you can get. It's helpful on Sat/Sunday (dead ring) since you can pick a lair of your choice and you can see which drops what and then you can optimize. Also dead ring is the easiest to reach your boons to get to IWD. Sharandar is a nightmare, I'm still spark grinding myself..
I would recommend starting with T1 dungeons and working your way up. The queue finder kind of lies about the gear score needed for T2 dungeons. Take that GS + another 2-3k+ in order to complete it.
If anything, just grind epic dungeons for unicorn and drake seals. Those are decent starter epic gear and won't cost you any besides your time.
Forgot to add, but you can buy additional dungeon chest keys (epic). If the chest doesn't contain what you want, you don't have to accept it. It has the possibility to drop your tier set (for that dungeon) or a random epic.
alkemist you mean that if I have an epic dungeon chest key, open the chest and do not accept what is inside, then I will not lose the key?
Yup, you do not have to accept the quest when you open the chest and thus will not use your key.
Nice, thanks!
And do you have any suggestions for a guild? I am PVE focused (I really suck at PVP with this CW, TR was much more enjoyable in PVP)
So far I found only this one that seems about fitting: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?368132-lt-Relentless-gt
But i have abasolutely no experience with guilds in NW.
