Didnt really want to start another thread but why was this closed

There is an ongoing discussion. You closed to other threads and than consolidated.. ok cool.
but why close the current ongoing discussion, obviously people arent happy.. are we to just close our mouths and take it? If there is another place to discuss let us know where we can take our thoughts without them being closed every 3 seconds.
