Hi, maybe someone of you have seen me in the pvp field. Today i m here to discuss or better to bring to the table the ridicolous conditions of the TR community.
Basically:
1) I am not accepter in any dungeon of any type. My single target dps is 2-3 times lower then a Mod 4 GF. SW out dps the hell out of me. Not to talk of GWF, HR.
2) Our best pve set is my best pvp set with ridicolous low stats.
3) My encounters seems to not scaling at all with power and have ridicolous high cooldowns. To do any damages i can just leave a rock on my mouse clicking the left button. I'm just a duelist flurry bot.
4) Our feats are rather bugged (Underhanded tactics) or offers little to nothing dps increase or survivability increase compared to what other classes can use. Not to talk about our capstones...
5) 2 of our trees are basically worthless.
6) Not even our primary stats work as intended. Charisma doesnt give any bonus damage.
Im not even sure there is still someone playing this class. The only ones seems to really love old sharandar. you know what i mean.
After testing in the preview shard i can 100% say:
if i m actually barely able to win any 1vs1 in pvp, after mod 4 hitting live i m going to just stop playing this tr or companion, because this is it. As TR we are outgeared and out dps by the game itself.
Every time i log into mine and start to do some events (pvp, dungeons etc etc) i just feel like that kid chosen as last one for a football match between friends.
It's not funny anymore.
I m here just to ask what you, G.Crush, are thinking about this problem and an ETA about when we are going to discuss it.
Just a note: permastealth required a certain degree of skill and is highly accepted by the high end pvp community, high geared community indeed which is supposed to match equally skilled opponent. Leave this tr's aspect as achievable throught skill and gears.
yes and with the huge buffs going to every class rogues and healers have it harder in pvp. I still have not seen a rogue beat a hunter ranger, gwf or cw. gwf are a lot weaker but most of them use skills that go through dodge and itc so rogues are ****ed
I agree, I know the devs said that they have things planned for TR and DC after mod 4 because it's too much work to change all the classes at once, but I think most people will agree that we need some changes, I'm a mostly PVE player, and we need some changes to be useful in PVE.
That being said, I'm a pure ranged Whisperknife and it's very fun to play but our general damage is way behind other classes. Like others have said, it's good to have viable options, most people now are mostly perma for PVP and duelist flurry bots for pve.
we need an ETA, i really dont have any reason to play him over my other classes.
Just to make an example of 2 minutes ago:
"kill 4 adventures in ice wind dale"...
seems easy? they drinked 3 pots each one before dying.

Nobody have a little chance aganst the new 2 HR bulilds (archer spec or combat spec) or the new CW.
This is not just TR problem .
But my friend logged in yesterday he is still executioner he pumped her power up to 8k and with GF on board he have done amazing dps .
I dont care about pvp any more cuz after spendin hours in preview i find out if you are not CW or HR you dont have even a little chance.

gf boosts the damages for all the party, if we suck today we will suck tomorrow even without taking into account all these over buffs

15.6 here and they have to be bugged because they do sometimes chug-a-lug. The other day I thought they got ninja-buffed. Took me about a minute and a half to kill the pair because the NPC drank 3 potions and spammed smoke bomb. Next pair I fought were dead in short order. So I don't know what the hell is going on.
Oh , i know whats wrong in here ,when you're on AB side some times there are adventurers that have like 3 times more hp and do more damage than regular adventurers although when you're on TT side you won't find this buffed mobs , was long time since i did those dailys so i had forgotten about that.
Wilds Medicine is nothing special, though it was sideways buffed through the change from AotLW to +Deflection %. That said, Deflection % isn't as good as more DR, and it doesn't grant as much DR anyway.
But yeah, TRs should have something they can do other than perma PvP. I stopped playing my Whisperknife because it paled in comparison to anything I did on the other four classes I've played.
Didn't they say that TR and DC changes would be after module 4 is released, sometime around halfway to module 5 or module 5 itself. That may be between 1-3 months, depending on how soon those changes are coming to Preview. Positively I'd expect it's on a Shadowmantle/Gasping Roots-fix timeline in between modules 4 and 5. At worse, it would be pushed to module 5.

At least I get to play some warlock action... if it ever gets buffed for PvP at all. Or take a short break until TR gets the love.
All they need is to remove permastealth from the game then buff the following things: blitz, whirlwind of blades (but fix it first so it won't ignore defense,tenacity), reduce animation on dazing strike and deadly momentum(increasing it's overall buff to crit severity. Oh and give the rogues 3 dodges as we would get our main defensive mechanics nerfed. Also would be really good if they added some feat increasing damage against focused target if TR hits it repeatedly. All these changes wouldn't affect to much on the flow of PvP Q.Q as they all need some time to actually work plus...would anyone actually use blitz for pvp? - _-

Some of us have spent well over $1000.00 to build our stealth based trs.
If they nerf us due to all these poorly performing whiney players I am seriously done with this company.

I hate paying taxes! Why must I pay thousands of dollars in taxes when everything I buy is taxed anyways!
Don't think they should get rid of perma stealths or nerf stealth. Instead, make perma stealth a choice out of a set of VIABLE playstyle choices.
eg.
Saboteur: can perma-stealth, low damage, low survivability outside of stealth, low utility
Scoundrel: can't perma-stealth, medium damage, medium survivability outside of stealth, high utility
Executioner: can't perma-stealth, very high damage, low survivability outside of stealth, low utility
utility = buffs, debuffs, stuns, gap closers, CA damage, etc.
However, something like that requires an entire feats rework. Alot of work for the devs and likely alot of unhappy fellow TRs due to the amount of time and money we've invested into the class.....this ones a toughy
go look the new terrible animation of it in preview.
Example of buffs i would like to see:
1) duelist flurry now hit for 0.5% of max hp of the enemy for every swings. Capped at 500% damage weapon.
2) smoke bomb now hit for 2k not mitigable damage plus other 3k at the end of it.
3) dazing strike more similar to takedown as area of effect. animation now is more fast.
4) lashing blade: + 10% damage, cooldown reduced to 12 sec,. if missed cooldown is halved.
5) lurker assault back to 60% bonus damage, gap closer removed. Added a cooldown to see how many seconds of it are still on.
6) clowd of steel are now 10 (up to 8)
7) path of the blade now hit every enemy. It's no more single target.
8) some love to impact shots.
