Has anyone tried cross-gear/class thingy. Take the CW Tailor'd ArPen Kit and add it to a GF Plate. ;)

All Armor Reinforcement kits can be applied to any armor type.

Any chance these could get an optional appearance modification?

I'd love for these to add spikes, studs or optional modifications to gear. :D

(I know the answer is no, that's a lot of time and resources spent for something menial but...hey...I think it'd add nice levels of customization)

Just asking, once we have renforced the armor, can we remove the kit ?

    No, you can't.

Then that's stupid, so each time there is a new mod, we have to buy for the new set 4 dragons eggs which will get so expensive + 200k AD, yeaah.

I was with the impression these reinforcement kits had a 'depletion pool" - like a countdown timer (that is only active while in actual combat) that had to be replenished, similar to the Back Ice stuff. I may be mistaken (I'm only loosely paying attention to all this new stuff) - but it's my impression. So once you've used-up all that reinforcement benefit you have to reinforce it again. No?

I apologize to the thread if I'm so far off-base that I'm whacked. I've been told already that I don't have any sense. :)

No the reinforcement kits are permanent stat boosts to the armor you apply it to , the overload enchantments have a combat timer attached to them .

It is not stupid, it's supposed to be an AD Sink, once you have crafted a reinforcement kit and afterward applied it to your gear you will get stats bonus up to 400 points. You won't be able to remove it but you can overwrite it with another kind of reinforcement in case you want to change the stats, there's no timer or something like that and you don't have feed it in any way, it's really simple. I already posted a pic about how it looks in the gear somewhere in this same thread.

If you do not wish to invest the Egg, for 'Best in Slot', you can also grab the cheaper Kit. However, it only gives +50 a piece. Those Kits are, by the way, also intended as an AD Sink.

Well +400 is good, but i'm not sure it was necessary to implant this :/.

You have to consider something, i.e 1 Radiant R10 is 7.7M ad atm in the live server, meanwhile a +300 power = 3 reinforcement kits for about 150k total, this allow you to change your enchantments accordingly, change a companion, focus even more in a single stat, up to you, there are many ways to see it.

Umm, it's 150k + 3 DRAGON EGGS. Those of us who weren't here for the first event that dropped the eggs don't have dozens of those lying around our bags.

Still cheaper than buying a R10 enchantment, but a lot more than 150k AD.

As a late reply I appreciate them being BoE. I think too many things are BoP, sometimes it has a place, but it is overdone. I do worry about the dragon egg supply though.

I agree with laz the full bonus its like a rank 12 enchant .
R10 is around 7 mill its super cheap even if eggs prize push up to 400-500k .

Can anyone confirm that you can actually overwrite an existing Enforcement?

I had a Armor Pen on my Boots, and now that i no longer need armor pen, i want to put my +100 on it, it says " this will overwrite the old enchantment" i click yes, and nothing happens.

Yes on the overwriting. I tried it when it was +50 and swapped LS for ArPen, it works.

....and cool beans on the kits bein universal.

It's not really the same thing. We could compare it to boons where you can get 250 stats for 20k or less and those are permanent while if you want new gear or different pvp and pve gear that will add to the cost. Having said that I'm not too concerned about it, but maybe I would be if I was less well off ad wise. Rank 10s are generally something people won't really be getting (though the rp system kind of sucks now that you can't buy stacks) while this is something more people should be thinking of investing in.

    That would actually be fitting.

Yes, I think what the game really needed right now was another thing that makes AD irrelevant and Zen even more important. This will surely help the economy.

they should replace dragon eggs with fixed price in ad 300k for example if not this will only improve lack of zen in game even more since eggs comes from z store

Well if you use dragons eggs for crafting and buy it then you will kill some ad from economy +the 50k.

was stoked when i first saw these in professions on preview...tho i thought 50 points (x 4 for a total of 200 points) seemed kinda weak. then they changed the recipe, change the ad cost (no biggie, seems legit) increased the point value to 100 (x4 for 400 points) it seemed a little overpowered...and added a DRAGON EGG to the recipe....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
BAD MOVE they are already waaaaay to hard to come by. how about 75-100k and NO dragon egg for 75 points (4x for 300 points) as the Greater recipes?

Uhh, transferring AD from one person to another by buying a dragon egg from them doesn't remove AD from the economy, it just moves it from person A to person B. Upping the AD cost for the recipe, and dropping the egg would, though.

That is probably a good alternative to the recipe we have now

What, the 10% AH tax? 10K? The other guy still gets the 90%. Do you know who sells dragon eggs? People who already have tons of AD and Zen, because you can't get them otherwise.
