I realize most people never even use the walk animation, but it's used in the Moonstone Mask a lot and sometimes you just want to pretend to be an NPC. Regardless:
Bug: TR's walk animation appears to have disappeared and been replaced with a slowed-down version of their in-combat run animation. The class also now stops running with a bizzare knee-bending thing that may just be a result of the missing walk animation, but looks ludicrous regardless. Please fix it.
When I say walk I mean the actual walk, as in what you get when entering /walk 1. The run transition happens in normal running.
This bug is still present in the current preview build. Botched walk and the weird knee-jerk stop. Seriously, guys, you lost an animation somewhere. Get on a TR, put in /walk 1, and see for yourselves. Somehow it's gotten replaced with a slow version of the combat run. Not sure what's causing the knee-jerking. If it's intentional, notice would be nice so we can give feedback on how weird and out of place it looks.
I've never walked with my TR, but when I run and stop running, there's a dramatic unnecessary movement to stop that wasn't there before. It's like an extra step forward. Also when i run and jump at the same time multiple times, my TR dunks her head in an awkward way. Her head should stay up the whole time while jumping and she also lands very dramatically.

This is a side view of my tiefling TR, she crunches her body and covers her head. When I asked another TR to do runs and jumps, her movements were normal so I guess this doesn't affect everyone

If you keep tapping w,d,s, or a, you will just knee jerk your way all the way down the street
The slow motion run is really off and odd however.
Clerics have this in live at the moment, when they walk they walk in thier slow motion run animation.
She just looks heavier on her feet, she squats more and is more dramatic in her movements, she looks less skillful. Plus the head dunking is just ridiculous. I just walked with my DC and she walked regularly, hands by her sides very slow steady pace walking. TR looks like how characters in Naruto look when they run
It will. I was on preview earlier with the final build, and it was still there. I'm disappointed and upset, but I can't say I'm surprised.
I spent some time on live earlier before patch just walking, and running before stopping. Last time we'll probably see those animations for a long time. Waiting until Mod 5 to have the class looked at already proved they don't care about their TR customers, this just rubs salt in the wound.

Preview bugs that don't go into the official feedback threads tend to get overlooked kind of a lot. (Sorry, but 7 pages on the 8-core crash and a last minute scramble to fix it when they finally became aware of the problem wasn't a big inspiration of confidence even though I'm glad it finally came to their attention.)
Since they won't be working like dogs to get the module out now, bugfixes should be coming a bit more regularly, especially since this one will be getting more attention once hundreds or thousands of people are affected instead of just the handful who've had TRs on preview lately.

Yea I know.
The crappy thing is... I play several games, and while I am playing those games trying to bring people from there to neverwinter, 90% of people are saying really bad things about neverwinter.
The main response is MOD 4 broke the game all together.
The next most popular response is people in charge of the game have no clue what they are doing.
Players in neverwinter are saying they are daily quests are destroying their fun.
Players in neverwinter are saying that there are not enough people to even begin having fun in open world pvp.
Players in neverwinter are saying that too many bugs have gone unfixed for too long.
I say I love this game.
I say hang in there people.
I say it will get better soon enough.

I so want a fix to the TR sudden stop bug.
It is very distracting that every time I stop my character does this stupid herky jerky movement.... really for a thief who is supposed to be nimble and quick... sigh
But, I don't see them fixing this anytime soon...
I hate to be pessimistic about it... but being an STO player too... it seems to be a recurring theme with this company
Please fix this i can't believe there's actually people that have been annoyed by this to i thought i was alone, also when you sit in the throne of lions you twitch like an impatient little kid sitting in a chair. I use to feel like a king sitting in a throne not a kid sitting in a chair can't waiting to get out of the chair to go play

You can imagine how this bug has killed what immersion I had previously.
This walk/slow motion bug occurs for my TR only when I equip a weapon. Want to walk normally? Break immersion and put away the weapon. Want to charge an enemy from a walk? You'd best remember to equip your weapon before charging them.

Sure it's a free game and I care very little if others want to play this game hack-&-slash running about everywhere all the time, however, since Perfect World has the D&D logo on this... well, let's just say a DM would certainly encourage the option of walking or running when appropriate -especially as it was once so.

It is so lame when I am trying to make a video and walk to look cool and instantly I go into neverwinter matrix mode.
