Alchemical Extravaganza event not working on SCA

I see that we can upgrade alchemical assests faster in the SCA web browser in the same was as it works in game, but the professions vendor on the browser version doesn't have any of the special events items available for purchase. Is this WAI, or a bug?

    Wouldn't be the first time something has been client only - the double AD rewards they did for leadership last year was in game only, any tasks done through Gateway didn't get the benefit.
