General Words to the people in charge of item drops and greed of Cryptic

It is wonderful to release a new bit of content what is not wonderful is releasing it knowing you are not going to allow anyone a complete set of black ice armor and weapons. Many are now boycotting the region as why bother when nothing drops? Then you decided to nerf the young yeti np that is normal ,but then you changed the drop rate for it to NON- EXISTENT. You continually address things in maintenance that have little value and attack a players ability to work hard in the game to earn AD and gain gear.

Locking the Astral diamond market at 500 and making it impossible to buy Zen even if you have 500 astrals has ruined the game. I spend real money, but even then I was able to buy low sell high earn extras and farm for things it was a nice economy. Now it is HAMSTER. New players are crippled they cannot farm and work hard for stuff . AH is so over priced there is no way to overcome the huge financial fiasco.

SO when are you going to let us have complete sets of black ice armor? When are you going to stop reducing drops to nil on items? Is it going to be never because it would be nice to know now up front. AND WHY SHOULD WE EXPECT ANYTHING GOOD FROM the August Module release when the last one isn't working right yet let alone base game problems that are never addressed or fixed?

It is extremely frustrating to have blockades made intentionally by a game creator. I play I grind I would do it no problem but when over 35 days of grinding heroic encounters killing remh and black ice beholder until I dream about doing it in my sleep and having NOT one PIECE of armor drop NOT ONE for me or my guild members also grinding away sometimes in 36 hour stints. What is you response? Now the only reason to go and do anything for those black ice enchants to help level gear are being reduced and that my friends is the end of IWD other than the opportunity to go to OPEN PVP and pretend you are killing DEVS and Managers at Cryptic.

Seriously, though, things are not as bad as you say. The yeti drop rate is not "non-existent" ... seems to be around 5% or so. A complete set of BI weapons and armor is not impossible to get ... although it may be a bit hard for some classes...TRs in particular. IT is partially luck, and partially a question of performance and "following the script".

It is not impossible to buy Zen for AD - just takes a few days. If you cannot wait a few days, just spend some real $$$. New players can farm and work hard for stuff....although they have to work harder than some old players because of various exploits that have now been blocked.

As for AH being overpriced - the market is self-correcting - if stuff is too expensive, it doesn't sell and prices will go down...if they stay high, it means that people are willing to pay those prices. Personally I consider the AH prices to be pretty fair overall. The increase in Enchant prices means it is now feasible for players to farm them for selling - something that was impractical in the past because of the bots.

Played mod 3 on preview myself, it was fun. When it came out to live I saw the zen prices of the new items that they wanted the milk the hell out of it and felt why bother. I still got my boons, but I didn't make much of an effort for icewind to get my sets. Btw the yeti always had a bad treat acceptance rate and afaik wasn't changed.

You can get zen if you put an order up if you're willing to wait a while. Every single module was released buggy and a short lived disappointed. Don't expect anything else. They could surprise me and make content worth doing that feels rewarding, but that probably won't be the case and will probably move on after doing mod 4. For some reason a lot of players don't care about how the devs are making everything harder for them.

Last year CN runs gave an easy 500k-1m, it was easy to make AD. Now everythings gone up in price apart from the loot you can sell to make AD which has gone down drastically. That bit is expected, but they haven't released any content even close to being comparable to being as effective. I see some people say about how its a good time to be a new player. I call BS. I made all of my progress and AD because I'm an old player.
