Lesser Corrupted/Purified Black Ice Enchantments?

I seem to be collecting lesser corrupted/purified black ice enchantments without really trying. Running Kessel's skirmish and such tends to generate them in abundance.

But what are they for? Oh, sure, I know that I throw one of them into my new black ice equipment. But beyond that?

I can't seem to refine them (into "greater" enchantments, for example). I can't feed them to my artifacts or something like that (bummer).

What am I missing? Are they just purple-colored trash at this point?

They slot in your overload slots, of which you get a max of two.

You can make them into a greater version in the black ice shaping craft.

They do have a duration, after which they go poof rather than being something you can feed back up, so replacements are needed if you're using them, but I still haven't quite depleted my initial ones (started with 8 hours of combat time).

Just last week I was searching my GWF for the one that I knew I had crafted(since I only had one overload slot until RNG finally gifted me the bracerts). Thats when I realized that they must go poof when it runs out of combat time. Would have thought they would let you recharge them but I guess they can be easy to come by. Now that I have fully loaded black ice set need to start running Kessels and stock up.
