It's really easy if you use Arc or Steam. In both cases, start downloading Neverwinter on the new PC. Once the downloader is in place and the folders are created you can stop the download. You can then copy all of your files from your old PC onto a jump drive and paste them into the newly created folder/location on your new PC. Fire it up and log in. Really that simple.

This^^^ is so much easier than copying files etc.

Unless you have a gigabit connection, copying the game folder will take about 10x-100x less time - it's about 20-25GB for Neverwinter. Just right click the game icon, go to properties, and find the path there.

there are some places in the world that do have data limits on internet services... not sure if that's the OPs situation but it can take a while to download vs a file transfer. as long as you don't have to do anything scary like alter the windows registry, you should be okay.

No registry editing needed if the new machine has never had it installed. Just copy the parent directory, "Neverwinter" which contains the "live" and possibly the preview installation too. Wherever the Neverwinter.exe launcher is at when first run on a machine without any Neverwinter installation registry entries, it will create them for the location the game files are in/patched to. Depending on your operating system and possibly other stuff, you may still have to patch some stuff up.

If you don't have to worry about bandwith, then either just copy over Neverwinter.exe and pace it where you want the game installed, or download and install ARC (Neverwinter is also available to install through Steam). You only need to run Neverwinter.exe to load the game at this time, no matter the installation method.

I prefer to just copy the entire "Cryptic Studios" folder, as the game launcher is in there, while the actual game folders are in the neverwinter\live...

Personally I don't like risking corrupting files, etc.

If you don't have a bandwidth limit then the safe and secure way to install the game on a new computer is to let the launcher do it. It takes a bit longer but not nearly as long as fixing your computer because you were too impatient to wait to download the game.

And if you do have a bandwidth limit...well...I'd start looking for other options. Bandwidth limits are like phone companies charging long distance fees or by the minute. They exist but the effected areas get smaller every year due to competition. Check, check, and check again. The more time that goes by the more likely it is that there will be options without limits.
