This skirmish was more fun than frustrating, but just barely. The other DC never used divinity. They 3rd level 60 deserves credit for sticking around as long as he did.

2 60s can do it.. 1 60 and a bunch of flubs who can take up some adds and die can do it.
Not sure what the issue was with some poeple, but a few pugs I was in, didnt know what the heck they were going.. overall it was fine, didnt bother me if I mostly soloed a few.
Harsher on DCs , AC spec just becuase cant burn through mobs as quick, but you sure can gather them all up and tank most of them instead, allowing the flubs to destroy portals, gather sacks ect..
So like 99% of the runs on my GWF I got bonus, 90% on the CW and maybe like 50% on dc, if I got into low end groups. This was almost all pugs.
I did do some legit runs.. those runs were so easy, I barely had to do anything at all.. I sometimes got frustrated becuase they killed things so fast I couldnt compete to get paingiver =P..
Deathknell shards was pretty fun as a DC, at least. Daunting light from a distance, run to next shard, daunting light from a distance, run to next shard, etc..."There were adds?". Similar for catapults.
But yeah, when you get a party of clueless level 20s, it does drag on as a DC, whereas if you're a GWF/CW you just solo everything while giggling.

I made some progress towards my DC's Paingiver title. Only ran it with her 6 times for dailies to get a key and a spare for the bank, but she did not tend to get lucky with her pugs.
Once, a level 60 CW asked in party chat, "Why start the boss fight without waiting for the rest of the team?" I didn't actually deign to reply, but my thought was basically, "because your cunning use of Entangling Force is sure controlling the sh** out of that one mob". Topped all the charts on that one.
If I had a party that was really trying hard and concentrating on objectives but just didn't have the DPS potential to get speed bonuses, I'd slot more heals and keep them going instead of soloing it. I really, really, really tried not to be a jerk-cleric.
And I was as jerkish as I could be, soloing all I could. But then, repel, repel, repel, ice storm, that thing a gf do to send them to another galaxy, grrrr....

GF's have a couple of prones, none of which really move the mobs around anywhere near as much as DC SB or CWs can.
IF a CW is using Ice storm and Repel though.. lol. those move the mobs much further and or 360 directions (like the clerics divine SB)
If a group is flubs I dont bother explaining, I just do it regardless of the group. I know good players when I see them, most of legit is pretty good honestly, with few exceptions in the the few months IVe been there.
I used to try to explain things, I mean in the most non offensive way I knew how, but honestly, 80% of the replies would be "who made you the king of arrogance , ill do what I want" ... so stopped bothering. I figure the experienced MMOs will look at results and emulate them.. Thats what I always do, never said I was best at anything EVER! But if you cant look around and see what people are doing, I dont know how to explain some of that.. shouldnt even have to speak the same language, any good player from any country can see mechanics in action , game play, objectives and just copy them!
Doesnt mean you may be as 100% skilled as some other poeple, but at least you wont suck..
Thats what I want my MMO tombstone legacy to be "Well he didnt suck... ha, and remember that one time he double healed a raid... and totally womped the undead with his pally during first days of EQ"
So goes my legacy

Bull Charge sends a single target pretty much into orbit. It's hilarious to see in action, unless you are teamed with a GF using it indiscriminately. (Ok, it's still hilarious, but also really annoying.)
The only class I don't mind pugging the skirmish is with my CW, simply because it's the only class that can guarantee the gold bonus.
Many times I've clocked over 5 million damage soloing the skirmish being the only level 60 on the team. Usually the high scores are when there are drow slavers.

I got lucky with the groups I was with, all PUG. I was able to get the gold bonus in all my runs but 1(that one I lagged so bad, that I was unable to do much of anything). Two of them I was tops in all the categories, except dying, I am a DO. Although the most fun one I did was on my GF, we did not get any of the bonuses, because even with a party of all 60s (one DC'ed during it all). I was second in total damage (1.9 million), and took almost 900,000 damage without dying once. And my GF is a tactician build, so not high DPS. A HR and I just stayed together and systematically cleared off the enemies.
Is this the only skirmish with the gold/silver bonus? I don't recall ever seeing that in another one. Seems like it would spice up the older skirmishes.

Yes. While getting more runs in was always an enticement for people to speedrun skirmishes for CTAs or during the AD bonus (or both), this was the first time the chest reward has directly been better based on speed.
The drawback is that it made a segment of players get even jerkier than normal when pugged with lowbies, because heaven forfend anything slow them down even slightly.

Perspective is funny.. I don't think I would have enjoyed this anywhere near as much as I did on my main gwf with any other character. Of all the runs I did, only once we got silver instead of gold, and on that one I came in as filler halfway through.
I'm not saying that the gold was because of my GWF, I'm just saying that none of my other classes (except maybe one of my CW's) would have contributed as much. (I've been pouring all of the earned AD from 12 chars into this one GWF.. which it looks like I am going to deeply regret come Mod4.)
The most fun I had was one where it was the Drow slavers.. and I was the only GWF and we had no CW.. somehow the others decided without words to drag all the mobs to me, I didn't even have to move.. just a meat grinder. The cleric just stayed put and kept me healed. Was kinda cool. They might have been lowbies, I don't know, I never had a second to look. hahaha..

Is this a sort of bragging thread for DC's being awesome? Because I had tons of fun with this event as a DC and ran into some pretty similar runs like the OP.
Granted, I made it above that Lvl60 TR in kills and damage just barely, but still, I was incredibly proud of myself after that run. The greatest thing about it is that I'm a heals-DC, I made my build entirely around healing/buffing, not tanking or DPS.

A CW is not living up to their potential when a TR out-damages and out-kills them either. It means they're not using AoE at all, or not well.
The face of the CW in the middle of Foxglove's party looks awfully familiar and I suspect I was grouped with that same person on a run as well.

Clerics can lead every category in skirms, if you have undergeared other players, its the only class that can tank, heal others, and aoe dps. Now if similar geared GWF/GF they should lead damage taken, destroyer GWF or CW should always lead damage again if similar gear score ranges. Too bad they dont have a utility board either.. for buffing/debuffing purposes, we can lead that as well.
But its quite possible if your DC is 3-4 k over everyone else to lead the charts in every category. DG/Chains or SB and Shield, while leading the charge and taking initial damage on everything.
Which is doable also in T1s, much harder in some t2s though.
