Explaination Please

Explain why I keep having this issue? It tells it takes 3 lesser weapon enchants to make a normal or 3 rank 7 enchants to make a rank 8?

    Yep. You need 1 more in addition to the one you are trying to refine.

    . . . Since refining is done to more than just one item type, think of it this way: The ingredients needed do not count the item being upgraded through refinement. These are additional ingredients needed to complete the refining upgrade for that particular item.

    Look at the pic, I put a typo in the original post. It says I need 3 of each not 2. I've been playing this game since beta non-stop, so I am aware of the refining process. An this is glitched. It's stating I need the one I wish to upgrade the 2 more.

    . . . Actually, you're missing a Mark. That's the first item that is grayed out. The 2nd is the enchant type itself, which you have 2 in your inventory in that pic, which is 2/1 ( / = "out of') so "2 out of 1" - you have that material. If you didn't have any, it would say 0/# and be grayed out - so, you just need the mark. (Don't forget to use a Preservation/Coal ward though!)

    . . . In your pic, I am only seeing the displayed need of 2 ingredients, a Mark and an Enchant of the same type, which is correct.

    . . . Also, you still need to finish refining that enchant, it's not even full yet. Need 34,560 more RP in it yet to be able to upgrade it.
