Hotenow close 1 & 3 close pots

I would imagine this has been mentioned before, but meh, cant find anything recently so I figured i'd see what people's thoughts were in regard to the close potions to 1 & 3 on hotenow map (small map). The larger map as we know only has 2 potion, i think they should be removed since it increases the duration of 1v1 node contesting.

Agreed, don't see any reason for them being that close to the node.

Speaking of the pvp pots, what's the deal with not being able to pick them up. Every time I run over one it's a HAMSTER shoot whether it will actually work. Is there something I should know about them, or are they just broke.

I think they add a unique element of strategy to battling for those two nodes and I would not support removing them.

One of my favorite moments was being knocked off a node and onto the potion. Thanks for the heal.

Matches would be sped up if their were removed, I think that's a good thing.

There's nothing unique or strategic about them. As it is, when a fight happens in any of the back nodes, the odds are it is either the TR or the GWF that is the infiltrator, who will be getting getting the potion.

Personally, I don't really care about it, but removing them will make the one-man node trolling a bit more difficult. So sure, why not.
Stop making excuses. Be a man.
If you know something to be broken, stop using it.
Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

With all the regen going around, trust me: 2-3 pots here and there won't really make a difference

The potions already have about twice the cool down of the two other potions.

So no, I would not support removing them.

Wouldn't removing them also hurt the player trying to get the one-made node troll off the cap? On my CW I tend to rotate from mid solo and defend home, I can't tell you how many times I've been able to contest a node with a TR/GWF , get pummeled down to 10% health, hop around and grab the pot, heal to full then kill/chase away the infiltrator.

The removal of potions doesn't help or hurt any one class, it hurts the people who exhibit awareness and strategy in PvP.
