Hello NWO.
I have been on the hunt for the Black Ice bow since IWD Module 3 on the preview server and Live for awhile now. I have done over 30 of the Epic Encounters (all of them several times again, and again). I have only seen the HR black gloves Reward from Remorhaz (6 times now) and other random Hammerstone Epic items, but have yet to see the Black Ice Bow...
Was wondering if anyone might be able to shed some light on this?
Have you heard of anyone receiving the bow in the Reward for the completion of the encounters?
Have you received the BI Bow?
If so which Encounter? (Epic or heroic)
Anything would be greatly appreciated to help narrow down my search for the allusive bow.

Off Topic of IWD. I have also been trying to get the off Hand Formorian blades from MC. I have ran a combined MC 2/3 and 3/3 a total of 64 times now and have yet to see them. I have seen every other Off hand 2 piece bonus item drop from there, except the HR blades.
Can anyone confirm the HR offhand Formorian Blades from MC?
If so which Boss?

To Silence.. I can confirm the HR Black Ice gloves drop from Remorhaz. I received my 6th one earlier this morning from it.
Developers / Cryptic. Could we please have better chances of getting these rewards soon.
Mine came from either this or Raid the Raiders. I got it the first weekend.
I'm very casually playing 6 different characters and only doing heroic encounters that pop up while I'm on the map, so I tend to have no idea where stuff came from because it's all a blur.

@dyeslee Mine dropped first boss. Keep in mind they are BoP so if someone else in the party gets them first you are SOL. I usually agree with VT groups in advance if someone needs offhand all others pass on the drop. It only recycles for 10k or so.
I'm almost to the point of giving up on MC, I've collected over 400 Seals of the Dark Fey to the point of exhaustion.
But what can ya do right? I'll keep on the grind of the Epic Enc's, MC, VT, until I can get my upgrades.. Its a play, pay, or grind to win game, so gotta do something to get what I want for my HR

legit. I often see mc and Vt parties form off-delve and they are open to all classes.
At least not when i'm there.
I got the blades twice from the first boss in MC.
Regarding the IWD bow I got it from the Beholder.

Idk how the dropchance works, since i even got them when i joined the fight when the boss was at 20%hp.

Note that I have not really farmed heroic encounters at all, only done the ones that popped up where I was already playing. I'm not convinced that spending hours looking for invites going from instance to instance will get you the drops any better than fairly casual play.

It does seem that way.
I was just collecting some weapon thingies when it spawned. I just said 'screw it' and started attacking. It wasn't a minute or two later that a couple more people showed up and then we finished it. It may have helped immensely that I attacked first and fought the first group (Chill Zombies and the one Wight, not the two groups of Wights and Battlewights. I'm brave, not suicidal) and was the only HR in the encounter.

Nope. Any Epic HE can drop main hand/gauntlets. For instance, one of my CWs got his Orb from Undead invasion.
The hypocrisy is rich in this post. You tell him not to post snide remarks or things that aren't useful yet you did exactly that.

Has any1 noticed a better or less drop rate on the HR gloves or bow since the most recent patch?
So far seems that the Beholder has a huge lead on the HR Bow, and Rem on the HR Gloves.. Hope that this post is helping other HR players for a chance on getting these items.
Ran more MC's over the last couple of days.. still no HR Formorian blades. grrr LOL
