In other areas of the forums, their is a loud cry of complaints. It is a roar claiming not enough content.
How is this even possible?
I have seen the works that come out of this section of the forums. Seriously, I hope some of you have been offered contract work by PWE.
So the question is why has this section of the forums not solved the other sections problem?
Sadly, because you are unable to fulfill this need. This begging of this content comes from the PvPers. They want new domination maps.
Can you make them?
Would you make them?
Have you made some already?

I hope you can ask a Moderator to keep your pool a general discussion so it doesn't end up at this forums again.
No offense, but people just don't usually come to this section of forums.
Assuming you've got a hundred or so people playing PvP any given hour.
Now give them a choice of 500 different foundry PvP maps.
How do you narrow their choices enough that you can even get 5v5 on the same PvP map?
Pick the "top rated" PvP map, and maybe a couple of random ones?
So, the first week you've got 500 PvP maps, the week after that you've got 700 PvP maps, a month later you've got 1200 PvP maps.
Couple of "random" maps a day could take 3-4 years to give them each a "random" slot in order to get rated. And by then you've got another 2000 or so PvP maps.
Do you want Cryptic to hire dozens of "PvP map evaluators" to examine/test/verify each PvP map?
Never going to happen...where's the profit?
A whoooole lot of sticky logistics are presented by Foundry PvP maps.
Encounter Matrix | Advanced Foundry Topics
I chose this section to post in, to keep it to those who actually take the foundries seriously. This topic does not need a ton of trolls in it. However, if the Mods believe it should be in another section, I am sure they will move it.
As the map selection is a randomized event after a team is selected, the matchmaking does not really apply here. And choosing a map in foundry requires no queing or "matchmaking" as it would not be first X# in to start it.
Of course, that is the point of a discussion.
I am sure the top pvp guilds, would love to have this issue in front of them. Thousands of potential maps to explore, duel, guild duel, practice, teach newbies, and generally beat the tar out of each other without repercussions on the leader board or ELO system?
But a practical answer is that you can do two things. First, in the PvP section of the foundry, show how many people are qued for a particular map, with the more being qued, the higher it is on the list. Also, reduce the required number of players to start, to six, four or even two.
Why would dozens be needed? Are dozens needed to verify each foundry quest? Even stipulating you need ten players in a map to start it, that does not mean that you need ten testers, one tester with nine dummy accounts activated, could very easily go though and test it, and I am sure there is at least one PvP tester on staff already, and with the huge PvP content in the last Mod, I am sure they have more than one that can and does test PvP content on staff already.
All of which can be overcome if the desire is there.

There will be encounters available for a PvP map? Yes or Not? If yes, how many?
A start for this, can be that we were available to change some features of orginal PvP maps. Change sky, change wheather, (we can add thundering, snow, night, day, sounds, music, etc...)
About adding objects on original maps, for every object you add on the map, another one (identical or similar) must be placed on the opposite side. Devs can add "safe zones" where you can not add objects, (like a stair that leads to respawn points :P) or a bit around the capture points.

. . . Never-the-less, making the creation of PvP Maps available to the Foundry is something I have been suggesting for some time now. Such would most likely entice me to PvP more or at the very least, entice me to make some PvP maps.
