Refining Black Ice Beholder Artifact..

This artifact reports it is Union, but when I try to feed it with another Union artifact it doesn't appear like I'll get the x5 bonus. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it working as intended or is it bugged?

    It appears that the Black Ice Beholder is actually an Artifact of Stability in spite of what its tooltip says. The tooltip will be changed to the correct Artifact of Stability. Use Stability stones and artifacts to get bonus Refinement Points when feeding RP to Black Ice Beholder.

    There apparently is no end to the duplicitous nature of Kessell.

    The sigils should come with a warning that u cant use them for refinement. I just ranked up one of them to 88 and wanted to use it in my new artifact and I couldnt. Wasted all the AD I had etc.

    The class artifacts, you mean? It says on every one that they can't be used for refining.

    Amusingly, the other lesson reinforced by this thread is "never trust tooltips". So why read?
    Neverwinter Tools for evaluating boons, mounts, dyes, etc.
