Transmute advice - what looks like what..

I'm looking to transmute my equipment into something dark robe/hood looking. I cant find any website or guide as to what items are out there look like what exactly... I also dont think there is an ingame "see how it looks options". So - any advice on what I'm looking for?

You can try google too but good luck.

I have try to use Foundry but without good result : too much option on character, not enough gear choice with difficulty for finding the gear in game.

If you already have an item, you can use the change appearance interface to preview an item without using or binding it.

If you do not own the item, all you can do is hope to find somebody else's screenshot of it. The forums here have a lot of threads dedicated to gear pictures.

I want to look like just a basic, boring ***, wizard.

I've got a normal hood finally (some blue or green thing), I just want like a floor length, plain robe. Not all these hipster-wizard robes with spikes, and knee length bs. Is there anything like that in game?

Closest I've found was Illyanbruen things, but even those just look more Elven than anything.

there is arcane wanderer hat which is your run of the mill wizard hat, but it costs 1.3m for some *cough* odd reason

I got some hood, that perfect - no wizard hat. Now I just need some floor-length boring *** robe
