Ok my problem is when ever i go to any new area loading times for textures are very slow, before mod 3 i encountered this only in Protectors Enclave but now its everywhere. When i enter an area half of the textures are white, my inventory icons are missing etc. It takes few minutes for everything to become normal.I tried to lower my graph. settings but it didnt help. Im using Nvidia gtx 670 graphics and rest of my config is more than capable to run neverwinter in highest settings.
Ill post some pictures later.Anyone have this problem on Ati cards?

Now i have big lag, 1 thing i have noticed the txaa is missing from options mybe this is the problem cuz i turn it to none but still have problems seeing BIG White Boxes instead flame effects ,or after opening map to move elsewhere i only see white map and the icons of protectorate and othe places this issue also has a great effect on switching characters on characet select screen all of them turn intoo white dummys.
MY Max Physics Debrys Objects is on 0.
I try to lower my Graphic even the lowest ending have this effect .
I need from Graphic desinger or some pro programmer some advice the new options tuned my awesome looking game into garbage all, new PC games run on my PC with full Graphic 16x anti etc....

nVidia has a program called GeForce Experience that can be used to detect the optimal settings for video games. It won't change them for you for Neverwinter, it has to be done manually, but I highly recommend using it to optimize your graphics settings. I ran it and it cut down on the graphics issues a lot! So many different settings to optimize. Currently the only thing I couldn't optimize were the draw distances because Cryptic changed those with Mod 3, so I can't get the perfect.
My opinions are my own. I do not work for PWE or Cryptic. - Forum Rules - Protector's Enclave Discord - I play on Xbox Any of my comments not posted in orange are based on my own personal opinion and not official. Hey everyone, I am using an Nvidia 760 and I have similar problems. I have been talking with tech support about it, no permanent solution yet.
but i have a temporary solution for everyone!
Whenever you encounter these anomalies with the game, if you hit the ESC key one to several times, flashing that menu seems to "jumpstart" the game to fix the settings again. Its annoying but it will solve the problem enough to for the most part enjoy the game.
Since introduction of Mode3 I suffer severe lags during fight with crowds of mobs almost in every Dungeon. I have NVidia 760 GTX card and experienced such lags maybe twice in a half a year before. I didn't change settings thus it has to be something within the game.
Starting game with GeForce Experience optimised settings helps only slightly, but eventually does't resolve the problem.
I cna say that since mod 3 I can sometimes slow to a crawl graphics wise yet I could run this max without issue while in mod 2. Even though my GTX 460 is older it still runs everything just fine. This issue of lag makes pvp sometimes impossible and pve even!
Adding my $.02 - GTS 450 SLI. No issues previously with Mod 2 but serious lag on all three toons. Also, PE shows white ground (as shown in a previous post in this thread). Picking up dropped items takes a second, etc.

I am having all the same issues, NVIDIA using the "optimized" settings from NVidia Experience.
Maybe this "optimum" refers to "optimum of unplayability" or something like that.
This issue began after module 1. Actually it existed even on open beta, but was less frequent and obvious. It probably has something to do with loading all textures to all new objects added after each new module.
Hi, i having the same issue, but the most annoing since mod 3 its in some location of dungeons like SP (first boss), and most of FH, the game become unplayable, crazy spikes. i change graphic setting but nothing.
Ok guys i found a solution that almost completly removed issue of texture loading(for me), i went to Nvidia control panel- manage 3d settings-under neverwinter i changed power menagement to "preffer maximum performance".Just for the record i installed new driver that came out yesterday(i think) but that alone didnt help much.

Every single time a new NVidia driver comes out I make sure that is set. They used to reset it to power saving mode or something and for the last dozen drivers that change has solved nearly every graphics issue I ever had with new drivers.

Big thnx bro i can play agan with max setting . "Happy i am yes i am." REEDIT NOT WORKING
ok so I have tried changing the power management, as well as freeing up 190 gb of data on my HD, and I have adjusted the settings to optimal using the Geforce experience tool. I still am getting lag spikes while running this game, which is something new to me cause as of like 4 months ago I was running it fine with no lag spikes and such. I also updated my video card and such.
Any other suggestions that I could use. Under display I have 3 video card settings....direct 3d 11 #1....direct 9ex #1 and direct 9 #1.....
Im thinking that this might be my problem cause it appears I may have 3 different versions of direct x drivers or something.

Its normal to have those 3 options,we all have them. I still have some lag issues but its not graphics problem it is server problems and probably on their part not ours.

After the weekly patch.Even if turned the power menagement to preffer maximum performance is have this graphic bug agan and now my graph setting much lower as it was before the weekly patch. Also the lag returned . The game is now soo ugly for me i dont think i want to play it until this is fixed .Almost all time everything is white my vorpal enchant are big blue boxes i see big white-yellow somthing insted my inferno .
The same thing happens to me. Some zones are just fine, others are terrible. Sometimes I can play for hours, sometimes I crash 4 or 5 times in 1 hour. Last night in Biggrin's Tomb, I dropped too 1.8 fps. The lag was so bad I couldn't even type. The delay on texture loading I can deal with, but the 1.8 fps is beyond unplayable. Most times I can exit the game completely and when I restart, everything is fine. Normally, the game runs anywhere from 30-70 fps at max settings. I can play almost any game at max settings and there's no issues. Here's my specs to show what I mean.

EDITED FOR FIX: If you have Nvidia's Geforce Experience running and you drop down to 2 fps (1.7 - 1.9 in my case) close it out and watch the fps climb again. It seems that Experience is trying to set the game one way while NWO changes it back. May not fix your problem, but it has mine. Good luck!

I found a solution to my problems, dont know if it will work for anyone else, but all the glitches and artefacts seemed to have disappeared for me when I turned down these settings:
Advanced tab at the top of the options menu( In Neverwinter) >
World Texture detail : 75%
Character Texture detail" 75%
I have been using this setting for a couple weeks now and no problems!
I have tried ALL the suggestions above, and still I must run with my graphic sliders at LOW and LOW to avoid graphics lag. I can actually run the lowest MEDIUM/MEDIUM setting on all but my CW, who lags much worse than the rest. It always happens to me in solo instances, if that matters. Am I the only NVIDIA user still having these problems?

horse mounting animation poor render.
Character sheet all sorts of not rendered stuff.
Map overlay not displaying on the change zones screen.
Gelatinous Cube Mount? I think not! looks more like a white door.
Icons in inventory not loading.
Icons not loading. Also, the game challenges itself with the background of the menu. You can see its not loaded either.
Armor displaying funky. Also, Icon over NPC head not loading...

Maybe this "optimum" refers to "optimum of unplayability" or something like that.

Good luck!
HA! First time I saw this it tripped me out-- Seeing PE covered in white! I was thinking snow in the spring?! oO What the..?

"beckylunatic" Gateway AH should have column headers to sort by buyout, bid, end time, quantity, etc. These disappeared iirc with the module launch. It's obnoxious.
Pls do somthing this is soo ugly.
