Hi Everyone,

I have limited play time and would like to explore creating a character that has high solo ability / small party dungeon options. With limited insight on CW mechanics.. is a "tanky" PVE build ideal.. or just high DPS?

After searching the forums.. I could not locate a build that seemed focused for this type of purpose.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

A high DPS build is just fine for solo play. Everything dies.

Just to clarify.. I'm talking about dungeon solo/duo efforts (Farming). Not just doing dailies for boons etc.

Get your AoE abilities down & you will crush the solo dungeons.

You talking about solo/duo expected 5 man dungeons?

High DPS and life steal makes soloing heroic dungeons quite viable if you are very well equipped (HV set, fairly defensively oriented accessories). This is from testing done by a guildie. My own CW is not nearly on his level.

Duoing heroic dungeons at 60 in epic gear is fast and fun, and I'd venture that it can be done in most combinations as long as the players are remotely competent.

If you think you're going to solo farm epic dungeons... that does not compute with "limited play time", even if you can get the cooperation of enough friends/disconnected alts to get you into them in the first place.

You need to queue to enter epic dungeons. Heroic ones you can just walk in the door when you feel like it.

    Hmm.. thanks beckylunatic.

Heroic dungeons have way fewer mobs than their epic counterparts, but the same rotations will see you through - shard, steal time, SS etc. I wouldn't recommend the harder dungeons without a full T2 set (HVand a stone and I'd recommend around 1000 life steal to save on potions - farming shouldn't be costing you money! I've soloed everything apart from ToS, Karrundax and Dread Vault (not tried the last 2 and I did get some nice drops from the 1st 2 bosses on ToS). Pirate King gave some nice ones too.

It was fun, but I haven't really felt like doing it regularly.
