    this is weird. i have 2 friends from the UK. one can play, the other can't...

    Looks like Comcast (one of the major American ISP's) is having an issue currently. that could be the route cause of this.

    I live in the Netherlands and have the same problem.
    I play Perfect world on the raging tide server and the same problem.
    the european server of Perfect World is accessable though, but i have no running account there.

    When I try to perform a visual trace route, it either ends in Dallas when started from US, or in Nassau when started from Europe.

    same problem he is trying to update the launcher,but no succeed pffffff,this is the second time in a week

    and yess i live also in the Netherlands

    Also from NL and having the same problem.

    -When i click play Neverwinter in arc i get the following window:

    Cryptic launcher autoupdate
    Trying to update the launcher. Please be patient.
    Tried connecting 15 times.

    -After the 15 tries i get the following window:

    Connection problem
    Unable to establisch connection to patch server.
    Please check your internet connection.
    If problems persist, please contact technical support.

    as for is PWE using Comcast, i have no idea but even if they are not it doesn't mean it couldn't be a problem. The data being transferred has to be transmitted on someone's data lines. Your data could be connecting on a Comcast line instead of say an Verizon one(or any other company line).

    Yes and no. While it is not your ISP directly that is having the problem they must have a data sharing link with Comcast for the US. Think of it the same way as a mobile phone provider. If the provider does not have access in a certain country it must pass the service to a "partner" provider. It is likely that your ISP is passing the data to Comcast who is having outages across large sections of America.

    yeah I haven't heard too many good things about them either, although i guess i haven't heard good things about any of the big companies there.

    Are these problems in the USA the responcebillity of our Dutch ISP providers ?... thats what the Moderator said.. its not a issue fro Cryptic but your local ISP providers

    its not just NL, finmakin. its several countries, a few pages back, some guy from Asia couldn't log either

    Hope we don't need to wait for some days before they fix this, these technical issues are to often and are fixed in slow motion. Yea and I'm from Iceland and i have no idea of my route.

    I'm in Iceland and yeah...I have the problem too....tracert stops at cogentco. The problem seems to be in Washington, as people have pointed out.
    Hoping for improvements...
