Reroll a GWF or HR, GF doesn't do the trick if you goal is PVP dps.

I love my GF too. Don't reroll yet. :)

Ok, first of all it's not your fault Temple of the Spider is hard for you. It's hard for everyone. The final bosses where I see people have the most problems are Mad Dragon, Spellplague, Temple of the Spider, and Malabog. I don't have much experience with Valindra's Tower and Castle Never but they are supposed to be hard too. The rest, honestly, are easy if the group knows how they work.

In fact, the only good strategy I know of to defeat Temple of the Spider (aside from cheating) is to have enough crowd control so that the whole party can focus on just killing the boss. Ideally you'd want 4 classes with AoE crowd control abilities and a cleric. GFs have Terrifying Impact and Frontline Surge. Rogues have a VERY useful spell called Smoke Bomb. And Control Wizards should use things like Ice Storm/Oppressive Force/Arcane Singularity, and whatever encounters they think will help too. HRs and GWFs aren't very helpful, but their single target DPS can help kill the boss faster, and it's hard for a GF because the AoEs travel forward, while everyone else's can go around them in a circle.

Sooooo, the armor I would recommend for ToS is Knight Captain's set. I know it sucks because you probably feel like everyone wants you to get this thing and that buffing the party is all your good for. But honestly it's a very nice armor set that becomes more powerful the more people there are around you (it buffs the party, but not you). Timeless is very good if you are by yourself or if your party is not very strong and has very little crowd control (like no control wizard), and it's not too bad for PvP either.

If you don't have a Soulforged armor enchantment you should get one. It's very useful, but expensive.

GFs are pretty good at PvP actually. xD No, they don't do good DPS, but they can close distance and stun very well. You're probably get something like 3 kills, 2 deaths, and like 30 assists when you start to get good. lol

As for your weapon choice, it should really depend on the rest of your stats and gear. I can't recommend a specific weapon. You'll have to figure it out. But I can tell you how. First learn about something called diminishing returns. It's a phenomenon that causes stat points to become less useful the more you get them. It's like how too much of a good thing becomes a bad thing. So if one of your stats goes too high, then the points are wasted. For GFs, this is most likely to be defense and recovery.

I'll copy and paste a list from somewhere of the max you want to go.

    Recovery - 3800 (25.06%)
    Defense - 3600(34.31%)
    ArPen - 3600(28.52%*)
    Critical - 8500(47.51%)
    Life steal - 2100(12.73%)
    Movement - 3200(20.64%)
    Regen - 2100(12.82%)
    Deflect- -3200(20.27%)

Armor penetration is only good in PvE until it reaches 24%.

And if you just want to be as efficient as possible, here is a list of where you get maximum returns for the points. Think of this as the most value for your money. ;)

    Recovery - 1600 (13.86%)
    Defense - 1600(24.65%)
    ArPen - 2000(20.27%*)
    Critical - 1700(15.16%)
    Life steal - 600(4.99%)
    Movement - 1200(10.11%)
    Regen - 600(4.99%)
    Deflect - 1200(10.10%)

So your weapon should be determined by which stats you need more. Personally I don't like life steal because GFs are not about doing high DPS. I'd say regen is better because we have such high hitpoints. But that is just my personal opinion. Anyways, your weapon should be determined by whatever points you decide you want more of. I believe defense and recovery are very important, but that it's also important to not let those numbers go too high.

Anyways, I hope that helps. I can... try to translate everything I said into Spanish (problema? haha) but it might take me a long time. English is my first language, but I understand Spanish because my parents are Salvadorean. I don't speak it very well because my dad spoke good English and liked to practice it with me. But I can write ok. Also it's very, very hard for me to understand Mexicans. Too much slang. ><

You no longer need PvE gear from dungeons to run PvP. All you have to do is PvP (a lot of it tho') and make sure you run the daily PvP GG and normal Domination quests for 2 Seals/day. If you have GG gear, hurry up and exchange it in ToB for a Tenacity set.

Also GFs can be awesome in PvP, they do tons of damage as well and have many useful prones and very good survivability. There are just not many players skilled enough at playing them and you obviously need some decent gear too, that's all.

Try 14 kills, 2 deaths, 22 assists, just last night.

My Conqueror-specced GF is in full Grim Conqueror PvP gear and is killing things just fine.

Chain-proning is old news once you know what you are doing. Due to animation boost Griffon's Wrath or Anvil of Boom are now perfectly viable PvP powers. I personally run Lunging Strike + Bull Charge + Anvil. Also introduce yourself to Supremacy of Steel if you haven't already. Nothing beats hiding behind your shield and watching the enemy whittle their health away trying to break your guard. Even better when they actually kill themselves trying to kill you. I do have 6800 power so I can hit pretty hard with Anvil to finish someone off.

As for best PvP gear, even though I never took it, I'd lean towards Tactician because it stacks HP and the same amount of defence as a GF's heaviest PvP gear. Tactician is also the middle ground of the 3 sets; less power than Conqueror but more defense, and more power than Preserver but less deflection & regen. You are not squishy nor are you entirely pillow-fisted. I personally went Conqueror because I want to kill things, and I do. I'm not the greatest PvPer of all time, but I fancy myself as a good player and my kill-death and win-loss ratios seem to back this, so GFs can be more than effective in PvP.

A cheap weapon that will help boost offensive stats in both PvP and PvE is the Brutal Lizardfolk Scimitar. I think they are going for less than 10k on the AH. I would rather get PvP armour before getting PvP weapons, so I would not aim for a PvP weapon yet.
PSA: You don't need to grind Spinward Rise for your Elemental artifact main hand if you have some AD lying around. You can craft it via the Tyranny of Dragon's campaign screen.

Stay out of ToS. Stay out of PVE entirely. Just do your PVP and get your PVP gear and enjoy pwning people. The last thing I want in ToS is a "DPS-specced GF". The only type of GF that should be in ToS should be a high-defense, aggro-gathering tank, to keep the Blademasters away from the squishy classes, and to debuff the boss. So I don't want you ruining my PVE experience with your stupid PVP build that will not work at all in ToS.

@wildfire5 thx for all info, i learn much with it, i will try get knight captain set (i see now this set very interesting) about soul forget i no want equip it to indomitable warior :( i wait to have timeless armor xd.

@pers3phone since i use timeless parts i have good rates in pvp, (i want get armor for have bonus xd) too i see tenacity is not crucial for a good pvp experience

@thestaggy thanks for the tip, I really see that with timeless i no need (for now xd) of pvp sets.

and finally about weapon i will buy profund conqueror longsword (more dmg, power and recovery)

GF is a cool roll Now I know it's possible play all epic dungeons and win it (except castle never that not even played)(just be patient while collecting a armor set that suits your play style)

I finally did Castle Never for the first time. The final boss went terribly. lol. Apparently the best group composition is one GF and 3 CWs (and a Cleric of course). I was there along with 2 GWFs and one CW. They wanted me to kite all the adds. >< Not fair. It's much harder than frost. In the above party composition the GF holds the boss in the middle while the CWs AoE CC spam the HAMSTER out of everything. I probably could have kited everything with a higher gear score, but I did feel like I was treated unfairly. I think one of the GWFs was mad at me, but interestingly the CW friended me and the cleric was just like we don't have enough CC. xD
