I think the difficulty communicating is the difference between why would you-xelliz personally need to vs. why would some other person who didn't have your resources want to (no time to earn the stuff you-xelliz already have in order to make the same insta-trade).
I don't think thats its, but at this point its just not important anymore. Also, Dardove has provided some insight outside of this topic as well. There doesn't seem to be a reason, buying GG set before the patch vs buying the GG set tomorrow will, as far as we all can tell, make zero difference. The only point of contention on that is don't wait a month because the temp trader probably won't be around.
I guess another piece of disconnect would be they may have been talking about buying the stuff from AH where I was thinking they meant spend your gyrm coins NOW NOW NOW, instead of after the patch.

I already talked to some HRs about this, maybe I'll shoot you a PM as well in a week or so, to see what you came up with for your HR and if it would suit my playstyle.
I pretty much like how HR plays on Live, seems to me a class with awesome mechanics and requiring lots of awareness and stuff, with a bit of broken stuff, but whatever.
It's a game, my reasons being here is have fun, no fun, no reason to stay.
I've respec'd at least 5 times in the past week. I kinda have an idea what build and stats I wanna build, but there's just so many options with HR, which makes it so much more fun and enjoyable. One of our guildie just beat a GWF 1v1 today with no roots, which I quite like the rotation, but it's not as great for holding points.
Even though I gave in and made a GWF too, and spent a bit of ad on her, I think my main is going to be my HR for PvP, especially with a new paragon coming out soon, I'm looking forward to it.
Have the gear and skills, but lack the friends to play with? Come and apply for Essence of Aggression. We have been here and strong since beta. (Immature, rude, and arrogant people will not be accepted)
So are they trolling us? The new PVP gear costs 20K glory per piece, the cap was 25K, new cap is 50k BUT they are now giving LESS glory as rewards win or lose?

This has been known about for weeks on the preview shard and has been openly discussed on the preview shard part of the forum , its why many people including myself advised others to get the GG set to swap for the T2GG pvp set as a stopgap measure till you can save up for the T2.5 gear.
I have the GG set but now you will need the T2.5 set which will take forever for most folks to get. The queue is also taking forever now so I guess it's a non issue, PVP is essentially gone now.
because you can trade gg gear for grim gear for a limited time.
Also, and this one was extremely unexpected, because they made all existing gg gear BoP, so what's on the Auction House right now are the last buyable pieces of that gear in existence.
Guess it was an even better idea than I originally thought!

*Probably* that's a bug and somebody neglected to make sure there were still BoP and BoE versions of the gear when they updated it to add tenacity.
Still, what a thing to go undetected because who the heck would be running GG on preview.

Buy out every piece of gg gear from the auction house and relist it at absurd prices.
