So I'm back for two weeks now after a good 6 month break trying out new content etc, Gauntlgrym being one of them. I've done several matches now, all of which my side has lost and I
@Heard@ our side loses most. I'm curious how accurate that is, does one side lose the majority of the time? It seemes like it was us hoping to god we didn't meet the other zerg and running about taking points but every game ended up with us either being surrounded in our spawn point or just losing anyhow haha. Maybe these were just unlucky games
@shrugs@
Then I looked at how much glory/coins this was earning. 3 coins and 2-300 glory for 20 ish minutes and only during that time of the day. Does this not mean, possibly, even months to earn a set of pvp gear? I've yet to participate in the pre-pvp PvE round, does this also award coins? I'd really enjoy working up a master predator set but have to admit, the thought of losing my way through 2 months for it is not terribly exciting haha. Thanks!

The trouble with being Luskan is that there are a lot less of you, which leads to a vicious cycle where people who want to win at GG are never going to side with Luskan (with a few exceptions who actively choose the challenged side).
It's extremely one-sided.
Part of the problem (and I'm not the first person to state this) is that aesthetically, people don't want to side with Luskan because they're "the bad guys", motivated by profit rather than heritage. I know this is why I felt a preference for Delzoun long before I joined a guild.
Ironically, the real-world-based reason why people want to join Delzoun is because winning means getting access to the Dwarf King's Crypt... better loot... profit.

In the 50+ days or so It's going to take me I could level 3 characters to 60 and gear them in arguably better gear and with less head ache @shrugs@ Likely nothing will be done about it and even if they did then far after I'm done or simply stopped lol. So no sense in being upset about it I suppose
I just did another match, predictably we were all up in our spawn point for the last 5-6 minutes. Lo and behold there are several of the opposing team, that obviously decided completely destroying us was not enough, glitched into the wall/overhang where you drop down from the campfire. Non targetable by us but fully able to cast spell after space potatoe after spell down on top of all of us. Some from fairly large/well known guilds as well. I came back for some fun and good content, impressed I am not.
PS: actually I am, love the two new zones and still having fun. But the above is simply bad planning and execution and is there really any excuse for such things(the completely lopsides sides etc in particular) after MMO after MMO has done such things for the past 20 years and you'd think these things were just common sense.
The community has suggested tons of easy ways to balance GG but the devs failed to implement any (or maybe the mods failed to tell them)
Not true, you can farm DK (for some questionable rewards 90% of the time, compared to CN) each GG. All you need to do is PvE during the PvP part (and oh my god how boring is that... ).
But yes, as a Luskan, I got instant queues, and 2 almost matches each GG. As Delz, many times I don't get to do the PvP. I actually had a run of 4 days of being unable to complete the GG PvP daily... and yeah I spam-queued as fast as possible.
As Delz, you win 99% of the time, and each time you're left with a very, VERY bitter taste in your mouth, especially for me as a former Luskan that understands what that side is going through.
I have also suggested a few ways to rebalance te situation, such as incentives and free transfers to Luskan, while blocking transfers and registering with Delzoun for a while. But yeah. Not much hope.
In the end the best solution is for everybody to just go Delz, and sabotage the event into uselessness. The "PvP" is not even true PvP, as the weaker side just runs around capping one, and another and another, avoiding the big bad nasties from Delz. When they meet, usually it ends up in complete obliteration. Where's the fun in that?
As for spawncamping, if it's done by exploits, just report the guys.
