GWF Tank Build

Is there one out there? I have been looking... I don't PvP, so I do not necessarily need to be PvP viable. I only tank... instances, etc. Anyone out there have anything?

    Never tried it, but I guess this is as good as you are likely to find for a GWF tank... GWF really can't help but tank anyway..

    The Leeroy is a great build for PvE. The fact that it can be used well in PvP is just icing.

    There is no true tank build for GWF regarding PVE.

    Since u need to have enough dmg to maintain aggro otherwise u don't tank since the mobs would all be chasing the CW.

    Honestly with Unstoppable GWF can get away with most things in PVE and therefore a more offensive build is encouraged. As your skill increase you notice defensive stat on PVE GWF is not needed since u naturally get a lot for being a GWF. And if you made a mistake you may still die but hack you have soulforged.

    FYI, the best GWF in game all have a really offensive build and they have no problem surviving because they have mastered the class.

    Well there is no 'true' Tank in the standard MMO sense as DPS is the main Aggro generator... However GFs Mark abilities, and to a lesser extent GWFs (Sentinel) Mark abilities, can make up for the DPS issue.

    Though for PvE I will say the 'best' spec is the high end geared Destroyer DPS builds out there. That in no way means the Sentinel IV's aren't viable, quite the contrary. It's all about having fun, and I enjoy the differences before the spec's, so do as you will! :cool:
