Hunter ranger and potion of heroism

I can't get the potion of heroism to work with my hunter ranger. Level 60, completed sharandar, still no luck. I have heard it is a common issue with hunter ranger. Anybody have the same issue? Or suggestions?

iirc, there's a fix for it incorporated into the PvP changes under long-term testing, but it has not been pushed to a weekly fix.
