A little assistance if possible...

Ok. I've been playing since the 2nd or 1st beta weekend. When the game when live...(I think) I couldn't get the launcher for NW to work. Since then I've been using STO's launcher to get into NW. I know I've should have fixed this problem by now, but I'm lazy ok! Stop judging me. lol Anyways, when I go to the original launcher shortcut it simply goes directly to the in game log-in screen and skips the launcher/patcher. How can I fix that? Do I have to re-download the game? Helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

    You can get free stuff if you start using ARC now (see promotion thread), so no time like the present?

    Yeah...Arc is not registering that I have Neverwinter (or Champions online for that matter) just Star Trek Online.

    I don't truck with Arc right now at all, except for getting it for the promo. Can't help you there, but I can make a suggestion: Are you opposed to trying to run the game with Steam instead? Not creating a shortcut with steam, but DLing it via Steam and using that instead.

    I already have the game DL'ed. Works fine if I get into it through the STO launcher. Just doesn't want to connect to the log in server when I try and use the NW launcher. I'm really hoping I don't have to do a new download just to get the NW launcher working.

    Which file are you using to load up NW?

    There is /Cryptic Studios/Neverwinter.exe and there is /Cryptic Studios/Neverwinter/Live/GameClient.exe

    The first one is the launcher, while the second one is the actual game.

    As for Arc, if you want to use it and it didn't find the games automatically, click on the add games button in the lower left corner of arc and you can manually tell it where a game is.

    That is very helpful....I can't find that file anywhere. No such thing as a Neverwinter.exe file? How is that possible and is there a fix?
